You mean that first dollar I actually earned delivering papers, cutting grass, and landscaping and saved in the Mr. Piggy bank was taxed sinisterly when finally used to purchase a quarter of a really Big Mac burger, which was still huge with two all-beef patties in the 90’s couple decades later when I could have immediately consumed a couple of them for the same dollar if had not sung the jingle to save my first dollar altogether and earn a free-one? If truly sinister, that part would seems to be the huge disincentive to do work beyond my immediate needs and to become the whimsical fool on the hill. That or misallocate resources into overvalued assets, aside everyone else, without much thought or creativity being necessary or expended, especially when theY tax my interest again on their devaluation of my purchasing power that am able to recapture.
