We cannot calculate an exact chance that the Bible was written with help from God versus just being a long human story that grew over time.
The Bible was written by many different people over more than 1,000 years. Even so, the parts connect to each other in thousands of ways.
That is unusual.
To guess the chances, we have to start with what we already believe:
If you already think God almost never gets involved, the chance stays low (maybe 5% to 50%).
If you keep an open mind, the chance can rise to 50%–90% or higher.
If you already believe God is real and active, the chance becomes very high (over 90%).
The final number depends mostly on two things:
How likely you think it is that God helps write books.
How surprising you find it that so many writers over so many years stayed so connected.
