the world would shit themselves if the dollar suddenly became worthless and only citizens could transfer their worthless dollars into the newly valued currency. all the others stockpiling and hoarding would sink nations and international criminal organizations and "important" individuals.

i think they know that and have been going on alternative shopping sprees that will come nowhere close to redeeming valuation.
