“THERE’S A MAN IN MY HOTEL ROOM.”

Bre Pirch describes the alarming calls she says mothers received from their daughters while serving as Pages at the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Continental Congress in Washington, D.C.

According to Bre, young women reported encountering individuals they believed were biological males in changing areas and hotel rooms. One 18-year-old allegedly called her mother after discovering that she had been assigned to share a room with someone she believed was a man.

In Episode 96 of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, Bre, a DAR member who has publicly challenged the organization’s transgender membership policy, reveals what has been happening inside the historic women’s organization and what she has faced for speaking out.

When the mother contacted chaperones, Bre says she was told it was “not a big deal” because the individual was an official DAR member. The mother immediately booked a flight and another hotel room at her own expense to remove her daughter from the situation.

Bre warns that removing one child from the situation may protect her temporarily, but it does nothing to protect the other young women or hold the organization accountable.
