They kill your pet because in reality, that person is on their shit list. They try to provoke a defensive response, but either way, they know they hurt you as if they killed one of your family members, if not worse because the pets are innocent. Every cop that kills an innocent pet, should be fired, fined, jail time, and lose their pension because they weren't serving and protecting but inciting and killing.
