A STRANGE ECHO FROM 2036?đź‘€
Dan Scavino just highlighted Michael and Susan Dell’s $6.25 BILLION pledge to seed investment accounts for American children — accounts intended to grow into real wealth for their future.
That immediately made me think of one of the strangest stories from the early Internet.
In 2000–2001, a man calling himself John Titor claimed he was a time traveler from the year 2036.
His stated mission?
He said he had traveled back to 1975 to retrieve an IBM 5100 computer system before returning to his own time.
One of his posts began:
“Greetings. I am a time traveler from the year 2036. I am on my way home after getting an IBM 5100 computer system from the year 1975.”
Now, Dell and IBM are completely separate companies, and I’m not suggesting Michael Dell had anything to do with John Titor.
But here we are in 2026 — ten years before Titor’s alleged 2036 — watching one of the pioneers of the personal-computer revolution help establish investment accounts intended to shape the financial future of an entire generation of American children.
Coincidence? Probably.
But sometimes history has some very interesting echoes.
Keep an open mind. 2036 isn’t as far away as it once sounded.
And if you’ve never heard the John Titor story, start here:
