The three military flights with the same call sign AZAZ0909 (all Cessna C560 Citations) have originated from the following.
1) Round trip from Washington to Minneapolis and back.
2) Fort Bragg to Michigan, returning to Washington.
3) Washington to Burlington, returning to Washington.
Just to prove to myself that I didn't dream this…

The first AZAZ0909 flight has arrived in Washington and is flying a pattern over Davison AFB / Fort Belvoir.
Not enough Facepalm in the Universe for this one…
One of the AZAZ0909 flights left Davison earlier. I think you are right with the 1SFG analysis.
Davison is likely to be the muster point and AZAZ0909 must be a mission code so that other military flight stay clear of them.
