They apparently duct-taped him for SPEECH. Looks like they cut of circulation to his hands and partially taped his right eye. Eyebrows and hair all over hia body will be ripped away.. Prediction: Marshalls or fellow passengers who did that to him will be sued for big bucks and the airline for its complicity.

There are allegations of him slamming a laptop shut and "appearing to have his hands around the neck" of the guy next to him. But the initial story line was vulgarity toward female attendants and/or gay slurs and the N word before the passengers lept into action. The "violence" may have started after they converged on him for SPEECH. Reports are that he bit the retired police officer who was trying to restrain him - on his forearm and hand. But the bitten one was also reportedly sitting on his "lap and torso" per the other passenger who assisted in zip tying and duct taping. So strangers not identified as law enforcement jump on you. You defend yourself. You get charged and possibly have permanent nerve damage and possible loss of partial or all use of hands or fingers from being bound too tightly for too long
Let's see what happens.
There must be video that shows whether he was in fact violent before the restraint attempts started.
Sorry for perpetuating the slide if there was violence on his part first. But even so, cutting of his circulation is going too far. His hand and fingers are blue. Long before they landed.
If he was not violent first, this story is not a slide because silencing another for speech that others don't like, including labels, names, political and medical opinions, has been a mission of the radical left for a long time and Constitutional lines are being blurred on purpose. The slipperly slope is normalized, if they succeed, to force conformity through fear of consequences that are themselves unconstitutional but about which (e.g., mandatory jabs) little to nothing is done except maybe a meek confession from a quiet corner years later, after all the damage is done to those who conformed AND to those who refused, that "Yeah, shoot, we did indeed go too far." But the perps don't even get named and shamed, let alone held to account.
Slippery slopes are aptly named and are dangerous to freedom. They start with smaller things usually imbued with emotion, so people choose to keep their head down and not "make a mountain out of a mole hill." But that's how precedent and momentum is built… in the wrong direction.
