Two IDF soldiers injured by Hezbollah terrorist in southern Lebanon, military strikes in response
Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured by a Hezbollah terrorist in the Beaufort Ridge area of southern Lebanon, their military said on Monday, noting that it struck Hezbollah targets in response to the attack.
According to the IDF, the two soldiers were attacked at close range and managed to kill the terrorist despite being injured. They were evacuated to a hospital, and their families were notified.
Targets struck by the IDF included weapons storage facilities, command centers, and additional Hezbollah terror infrastructure.
The announcement follows overnight IDF strikes in the Nabatiya area of southern Lebanon, during which the military killed several terrorists.

Iran attacks Kurdish Iranian opposition group in Iraq
The attack comes amid numerous reports in Kurdish media that the US is withdrawing from Iraq, including forces in the Kurdistan Region. This includes reports of air defenses being withdrawn.
Iran carried out a new attack on a Kurdish Iranian opposition group in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, one of more than 1,000 Iranian drone and missile attacks on the Kurdistan Region since February 2026.
In February, the US and Israel began attacks on Iran. Iran has targeted Kurdish groups. The attack comes amid numerous reports in Kurdish media that the US is withdrawing from Iraq, including forces in the Kurdistan Region.
This includes reports of air defenses being withdrawn. Iran may be emboldened by these reports.
Rudaw noted on September 7 that “Iran launched a drone attack on one of the bases of an Iranian Kurdish party in Sulaimani province’s Surdash subdistrict early Monday, setting part of the base on fire, according to the group.”

Fighting increases in Yemen as Houthis look to al-Mandab Strait as potential pressure point
The Houthis could still threaten the key Bab al-Mandeb Strait at the entrance to the Red Sea to reduce pressure on Iran.
Reports in Yemen suggest that Yemen’s government forces have made some limited gains against the Houthis. The Houthis have dominated a swath of Yemen since 2015.
They have consolidated control over the last decade and launched attacks on Saudi Arabia, Israel, and other countries. They are backed by Iran. However, Iran has fewer funds to support them, and this could cause them to suffer setbacks.
The Houthis could still threaten the key Bab al-Mandab Strait at the entrance to the Red Sea. They could do this to try to reduce pressure on Iran. Currently, the picture of escalation is not fully clear. Both the Houthis and government forces are escalating attacks.
Reports in regional media, including SANA in Syria and Al-Arabiya, say that Yemeni government forces had taken full control of Hays district in Hodeidah province and made gains in Taiz and Al-Jawf, as Houthi forces fired three ballistic missiles at Taiz city.
The SANA report is based on Yemen’s Saba News Agency, which itself quoted a Yemeni military source as “saying government forces secured the remaining rural areas of Hays on Saturday evening. Hays city was already under government control.”

The Jazan oil refinery, owned by the world's biggest oil company, Saudi Aramco, was attacked on Monday, and the damage is being assessed, the Financial Times reported, citing two people with knowledge of the matter.

Oman evacuated 16 crewmembers from Saudi-owned tanker struck by Iran
Oman said it had evacuated 16 crew members from the Saudi-owned tanker Sidr, after it was attacked by Iran, according to a statement posted on X/Twitter by its Maritime Security Center.
The Sidr, which had 25 crewmembers on board, was one of two supertankers carrying Saudi oil that were reported hit while transiting the Strait of Hormuz last Monday.

According to KAN News, the terrorist's phone fell from his pocket while fleeing the scene and has been identified as an individual known to the security establishment.
The IDF killed the terrorist who wounded one person in a terror stabbing attack at Maoz Yehuda Farm near Kusra in the West Bank on Monday morning, the military announced in an afternoon statement.
IDF soldiers located the terrorist near his vehicle in the area of Qabalan. Upon being located, the terrorist attempted to stab the soldiers. An IDF commander responded with fire and killed him.

Libya arrests five people in connection with drone strikes on refinery

Authorities in western Libya have arrested five people in connection with a recent string of drone attacks on a major energy facility.
The government said the arrests exposed a “vast plot” and described the attacks as part of a coordinated campaign.
Authorities said the group were part of a "sabotage cell" who also planned to attack a power station south of Tripoli, as well as other vital facilities.
They said foreigners are among the suspects but didn’t give further details.
In August, a large petrol reservoir in Zawiya caught fire during a drone attack on a major oil facility near Tripoli, Libya's state-owned oil company NOC said.
The reservoir is part of the second-largest oil refinery in Libya, with a refining capacity of 120,000 barrels per day. Other drone attacks followed at the Zawiya complex, which is located some 45 kilometres west of Tripoli.
On Thursday, another attack on fuel tanks outside of Tripoli was thwarted, the NOC said.
Libya has the largest oil reserves in Africa. But the country has been beset by violence and instability since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
Two governments are currently vying for power: the UN-recognised administration in Tripoli led by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah, and a rival in the east backed by military commander Khalifa Haftar.

Amritsar: Operations at Amritsar airport were suspended for nearly an hour and a half on Sunday night after drones were spotted across the airfield, forcing the diversion of seven flights before the situation was declared normal, Airport Director Anirudh Kumar Sharma said.
Speaking to ANI, Sharma said the Air Traffic Control (ATC) unit received a report from the Indian Air Force at approximately 9.45 pm stating that drones had been spotted across the airfield.
Following the airport's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for drone sightings, a Joint Action Committee was activated and assembled in the control tower.
The committee determined that the drone activity could disrupt scheduled landings, leading to the decision to close the airfield. Operations were suspended around 9:50 pm.
"At approximately 9:45 pm, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) unit received a report from the Indian Air Force stating that drones had been spotted across the airfield.
By that time, several aircraft scheduled to land in Amritsar were already circling overhead. Following our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for drone sightings, a Joint Action Committee was activated and assembled in the control tower.
They determined that the drone activity could disrupt scheduled landings, so the decision was made to close the airfield for operations," he said.
With multiple aircraft holding overhead, seven flights had to be diverted, two to Chandigarh and five to Delhi, Sharma said. Police are investigating the incident.
"Airport operations were suspended around 9:50 pm. In the meantime, we had to divert aircraft that were holding overhead; there were approximately seven such aircraft. Two flights were diverted to Chandigarh, and five were diverted to Delhi.
Around 23:00 hours (11:00 pm), the Joint Action Committee assessed that the situation was under control andsince there was no further drone activitydecided to resume normal operations; we declared operations open starting at 23:15 hours.
Subsequently, the flights began returning. Of the seven diverted flights, five returned; one Air India flight that had gone to Delhi was cancelled, and the Malaysia flight is expected to arrive today. Everything has returned to normal.

Drones Ground Arkansas Firefighting Aircraft

Unauthorized UAS forced aerial operations to stop during active wildfires.
Two unauthorized drones interfered with aerial firefighting operations last week as crews battled a wildfire in Garland County, Arkansas.
Regine Skelton of the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division told KARK-TV that the drones limited the agency’s air response.
The department issued similar guidance in August, warning that unauthorized drones can ground firefighting aircraft, slow emergency response and create airspace hazards.
No details have been released about the drones, their operators or how long the latest interruptions lasted.
Drone interference has also affected wildfire operations elsewhere in the U.S. The Interior Department recorded 53 unauthorized drone incursions during wildfires in 2025, 44 of which directly interfered with or threatened aerial firefighting operations.
As of May, the agency had documented four additional incursions in 2026.

UFO filmmaker urges King Charles to back UK file release

A UFO filmmaker has urged King Charles to back the release of the UK's secret files relating to potential alien encounters.
Mark Christopher Lee - who directed the documentaries The King of UFOs and The Rendlesham UFO - is convinced Britain needs to follow in the footsteps of President Donald Trump's American government by releasing documentation linked to UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) and he wants the monarch to step in.
Lee said: "President Trump’s administration is releasing UFO files, standing up a science advisory council, and treating this as a matter of national importance.
"Britain cannot pretend the sky over Rendlesham Forest [in the UK] and the rest of the United Kingdom is empty.
"The King has spent his life arguing that humanity’s relationship with the Earth matters. Humanity’s relationship with the cosmos matters too. The Crown has survived by adapting. This is the ultimate test."
Lee went on to insist the UK is lagging behind after the Ministry of Defence (MOD) stopped maintaining reports relating to UAPs back in 2009 because officials believed there was no credible threat to the UK - and the filmmaker is convinced the country's position on the matter is becoming untenable as the USA continues to release files relating to mysterious sightings.
He added: "Britain hosted one of the best-documented military UFO cases on Earth at Rendlesham, on what was then a NATO base,.
"Viewers of my Rendlesham film have independently reported orb activity while watching it. That is not a party trick. That is the phenomenon answering back.
"We need a British equivalent of America’s AARO, open archives, and an honest conversation with the public."
Lee concluded: “It does not need to land on the White House lawn or Buckingham Palace. It is already in our skies, our military ranges, our nuclear sites, and - for some of us - our bedrooms."

Lee's film The King Of UFOs examines the royal family's links in UFOs and the paranormal and includes claims that King Charles flew an actual UFO in Canada in 1975.
The film features an interview with Canadian diver Dan Costello who claims to have witnessed Charles - then Prince of Wales - as one of three pilots flying a prototype UFO at Sandy Point in Nova Scotia.
Costello claimed the craft was shaped like a UFO and emitted a blue ionic flame which scorched the earth below and turned the soil to grass.
He states that Charles was stationed on the nearby HMS Endeavour as a Helicopter pilot and was drafted in on what was called Project Serpico.
Costellos said: "The craft had dual rotor blades like a helicopter but it would also just sit and hover in the sky with the blades not on and with no sound of propulsion just a faint crackle of electro magnetism.
I don't think it was extra terrestrial but might be technology developed by Nikolai Tesla who had a facility here and now this was being used by the US, Canadian and British Military."
Lee researched Costello's claims and found validity to them and found evidence that the technology might be what US military personnel such as David Grusch have claimed to have seen at first hand.
Lee added: "What if what we are all seeing in the sky and thinking are extra terrestrial spacecraft are actually just a secret highly advanced earthbound technology? What if Prince Charles was involved with this project - does King Charles know the truth about UFOs?
"If so he should release this truth to the public. We deserve to know!"
Lee wrote to King Charles to ask him about this 1975 event at Sandy Point but did not receive a reply.
said: "King Charles could ask for a briefing by his ministers on UFOs and discreetly enquire about what is in the so called X Files and find out what the truth is. "From making this film we know that the king has a huge interest in UFO and other worldly matters.
"The king should use his position top push for the release of the British X Files - the public deserves to know the truth." And the filmmaker has also suggested UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer should have UFO hearings in parliament, similar to meetings in the US congress.
He said: "This is not fringe conspiracy theories anymore. The UK's politicians need to take this seriously. The public deserves to know the truth. We are closer than ever to finding evidence of intelligent life in our galaxy - are we prepared for first contact?
This will create a new galactic era of politics - Exo politics and will need new thinking. "UFOs or UAPs as they are now known are taken very seriously in the US both by notable scientists such as Prof Avi Loeb from Harvard and by politicians, with both Republican and Democrats calling for the US Government to release the truth about UFOs. We need the same in the UK scientists and politicians need to step up - there is something unidentified in the skies that people are seeing all over the world it's not a jokey thing anymore."

'It's Not Necessarily Disturbing': Expert Claims Truth About UFO Files Disclosure Is 'Probably Good'

Dr Diana Pasulka suggests UFO disclosure might not traumatise the public, but instead encourage deeper existential reflection
Potential disclosure of information about UFOs and alleged non-human intelligence would not necessarily traumatise the public, religious studies professor Dr Diana Pasulka said, suggesting that people's existing beliefs about reality could influence how they respond.
Pasulka, a professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, made the comments on That UFO Podcast, hosted by Andy McGrillen, in an episode released on 4 September 2026.
Her remarks address a recurring argument in UFO disclosure discussions that authorities might fear the public reaction to information about alleged non-human intelligence.
Speculation about a staged or gradual UFO disclosure has circulated for years, alongside congressional hearings, Pentagon briefings and the US government's release of UAP-related videos and records.
Pasulka has researched scientists, technologists and others interested in extraterrestrial intelligence for roughly six years, with that work forming part of the basis of her 2019 book American Cosmic.
Her latest book, The Others, UFOs, AI, and the Secret Forces Guiding Human Destiny, was published by St. Martin's Essentials on 28 July 2026.
Discussing whether disclosure could be psychologically overwhelming, Pasulka questioned the assumption that such an event would necessarily be disturbing.
She suggested that people who have not previously considered questions about spirituality, evil or realities beyond the physical world might find such an announcement more unsettling.
'It's not necessarily disturbing,' Pasulka said. 'It's disturbing if you've never thought about these things before, but it's not disturbing for those who give it some thought.'
Why Pasulka Says UFO Disclosure Could Do Some Good
That is not to say Pasulka treats the subject lightly. She has spoken elsewhere about being genuinely shaken by parts of her research, describing experiences that unsettled her own understanding of the world.
Christianity shaped her childhood, and she has said her UFO fieldwork led her to revisit that faith after her research led her to believe that some people were reporting experiences they interpreted as encounters with something beyond the human.
Still, Pasulka's comments framed a potential disclosure as something that could prompt people to reflect on broader questions about existence.
She floated a scenario in which a sitting president confirms the existence of non-human intelligence overnight, and suggested the shockwaves would not necessarily be destructive.
'I think that this kind of a, if disclosure happened and the president, you know, talked about it tomorrow, this would actually cause a lot of people to ask that question, like what's it all about? And that's probably good,' she said.
The Bigger Questions Behind Potential Disclosure
For Pasulka, that kind of jolt could push people who otherwise coast through life to actually stop and think about why they exist and where humanity fits into the wider picture. She suggested that such an announcement could lead some people to revisit religious beliefs or traditions.
Whether any such announcement is actually imminent remains an open question. The US government has released UAP-related reports, imagery and other records, while congressional hearings and calls for greater transparency have continued. None of those developments establishes the kind of disclosure Pasulka describes.
In the discussion, she did not provide a specific disclosure date or identify evidence of an imminent announcement.
Her accounts of extraordinary experiences and interpretations of her research are her own accounts and should not be presented as independently established evidence of non-human intelligence.
What she is offering, essentially, is a psychological reframe: the fear of disclosure may reflect, in part, how people with different assumptions about reality interpret the prospect of non-human intelligence.
Whether that interpretation would hold if a government actually confirmed the existence of non-human intelligence is impossible to know in advance.
