Beijing Threatens To Cancel Trump-Xi Summit If US Approves New Arms Sales To Taiwan

Chinese President Xi Jinping used today's 18th BRICS Summit to push for a greater diplomatic role in Gulf affairs. The move appears to be transforming the bloc's economic weight into geopolitical influence, really positioning it as a counterweight to US foreign policy.

Beijing's leverage also rests on its control over rare-earth and other critical-material supply chains, as it maintains a "quasi-monopolistic" grip on the industry that will persist through the end of the decade.

Keeping that leverage in mind, Japanese news outlet Kyodo News reported that Beijing threatened earlier today to cancel the summit with President Trump in Washington if the US approves new arms sales to Taiwan.

Kyodo stated:

China has told the United States that it intends to cancel a planned meeting between their leaders later this month if Washington approves any new arms sales to Taiwan by then, multiple sources familiar with bilateral ties said Saturday.

U.S. President Donald Trump, apparently eager to showcase some diplomatic achievements ahead of November's midterm congressional elections, places great importance on holding the summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

While preparing for Xi's upcoming trip, China has restated its position that the Taiwan issue is a "red line" in bilateral relations, sources said.

The report comes ahead of Xi's planned summit with Trump at the White House on September 24. The threat is another obstacle for the administration as it seeks to maintain an already fragile diplomatic and trade truce amid worsening relations over the Gulf conflict.

Polymarket traders appear unfazed by the Kyodo report, with Xi still leading the "Who will Trump meet with in September?" market at 95% and odds showing little reaction to the reported threat.

During the Lindsay Clancy trial Judge William Sullivan sealed the identities of all 12 jurors until at least September 18th, citing safety concerns after the high-profile trial. An incident in which a woman was arrested for allegedly attempting to film and intimidate the jury added weight to the decision. Deranged feminist activists have been rallying for weeks hoping to manipulate the outcome of deliberations in favor of Clancy, a mother who brutally strangled her three small children and then claimed "postpartum psychosis" as a defense.

The announcement of a mistrial due to one male juror triggered a rabid fervor among leftist wine moms, leading to immediate calls for the juror to be doxxed, harassed and potentially "punished" for his refusal to conform to the wishes of the rest of the jury. Evidence suggests that a pro-Clancy group formed very early in the deliberations process, and this group pressured the few holdouts to give in. Only one man remained.

Defense Attorney Kevin Reddington's wife is apparently leading the charge on social media to undermine the juror's credibility. It's a bizarre decision given that the trial is already over, unless the goal is to intimidate future jurors in a future trial.

The man's previous charges include a restraining order filed in 2021 by his wife, who claimed at least one incident of physical abuse. It should be noted, though, that all criminal charges were dismissed. NBC also dug up a $12,000 civil dispute the juror had with a landlord. NBC has not attempted to dredge up dirt on any other juror in the Clancy trial, only the juror who refused to accept the insanity plea.

It's only a matter of time before the juror's full identity is revealed, opening the door to a barrage of harassment from activists and journalists.

It shouldn't need to be explained, but the man's past is completely irrelevant to his duties on the jury. He was approved by the defense and criminal histories of all candidates are examined during jury selection. Perhaps Reddington assumed that the jury was stacked in Lindsay Clancy's favor and adding a black man to the list was the same as adding another sure vote. This explains why the lawyer acted so aggressively to have the juror pressured or removed - His "rogue" decision" is viewed as a betrayal.

UK Government Reserves Two-Thirds Of Elite Jobs By Race; Leaked Doc Exposes

A leaked internal document, reported by investigative journalist Steven Edginton, shows Britain’s Civil Service reserving two-thirds of places on a taxpayer-funded talent programme for “diverse candidates.”

Sixty-six per cent of the slots are ringfenced for staff who are ethnic minority, disabled, or from a lower socio-economic background. Everyone else — including the white working-class kids the same government claims to champion — can take whatever is left. They’ve essentially built a public-sector caste system.

The Cabinet Office’s defence is the same tired formula used across the British state. The scheme, it says, complies with the “positive action” provisions of the Equality Act. In plain English: race, disability status and class background are now official sorting criteria for who gets accelerated towards the top of the machine that writes the country’s laws.

Reform UK’s home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf put the objection in one line: “Jobs and opportunities should be awarded on merit, not handed out according to someone’s ethnicity.”

“Positive action” is the legal fig leaf. Positive discrimination is illegal in Britain. Positive action is the workaround: employers may favour a candidate from an under-represented group if they are “as qualified” as the other person. In practice, the ringfence comes first. Two-thirds of the places are already spoken for before a single application is scored on competence.

The Civil Service already runs dedicated fast-tracks for favoured identities. META — the Minority Ethnic Talent Association — sits on top of the Future Leaders Scheme. DELTA does the same for disabled staff. Mentoring, mock interviews, senior sponsorship and extra visibility are reserved for those groups. The leaked 66 per cent figure is simply that architecture made explicit: most of the taxpayer-funded pipeline is not open competition. It is a reserved lane.

Official numbers make the “under-representation” story look thinner by the year. Civil Service Statistics 2026 put ethnic minority representation at a record 19.2 per cent, against 19.6 per cent of the economically active working-age population.

Declared disability among civil servants is now 18.4 per cent — above the national working-age average. The gap that remains is concentrated at the Senior Civil Service, where ethnic minority staff sit at 10.6 per cent. The official answer is not to test harder for the best people. It is to fence off two-thirds of the development scheme and call it justice.

This is not an isolated HR experiment. Britain’s domestic intelligence service has already told white students, including poor ones, not to bother applying.

For the 2026/27 academic year, MI5’s Summer Intelligence Internship is confined to people “from a Black, Asian, mixed heritage or ethnic minority background and from a socially or economically disadvantaged background.”

The agency’s own careers page states: “We’re confining the applications for this internship to those within this demographic due to a current underrepresentation in our workforce.” White British applicants — even those from the most deprived postcodes — cannot submit a form. A narrow “White other” box exists for Romany Gypsy, Scottish Travellers or Irish Travellers. Ordinary white Britons are out.

Shadow home secretary Chris Philp called it “flagrant racism from MI5 & GCHQ.” He wrote: “White applicants for summer 2027 internships – including from disadvantaged backgrounds – can’t apply. The scheme must be scrapped.” And: “Applications should be merit-based and colour blind. Working class white boys are among the most disadvantaged – yet are ignored.”

Security minister Dan Jarvis has defended the internships as “a lawful measure (as set out in the Equality Act 2010) used to encourage people from under-represented demographics to consider national security careers.” The same statute, the same incantation. The people who will one day hold files on the rest of the country are being pre-sorted by ethnicity before they sit a single test.

The National Audit Office ran the same play. Its six-week paid public-sector accounting internship in Newcastle accepted only applicants who were female, of black heritage, or from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Middle-class white men were barred. Yusuf called that “blatant discrimination.”

The same pattern reached frontline policing in April 2025. West Yorkshire Police, one of the largest forces in the country, told white British candidates to wait while “under-represented groups” were waved through the door.

French prosecutors find new suspected Epstein recruiters

Earlier, two modeling agents accused of working with the late sex offender had been found dead amid the investigation

French investigators have identified more “potential recruiters” who may have helped convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein obtain victims in France and elsewhere, a top prosecutor has announced.

Speaking to France Inter on Thursday, Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau gave an update on two investigations launched by her office in February after the release of millions of Epstein-related documents in the US. One probe is focused on human trafficking, including alleged recruitment, while the other covers possible money laundering and tax fraud.

Epstein, who had extensive contacts among the international elite, died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges. His death was officially ruled a suicide but fueled conspiracy theories that he was murdered by powerful figures to ensure his silence.

“We have obtained other names of potential recruiters,” Beccuau said, declining to identify the suspects. She described the Epstein network as “labyrinthine,” adding that “it’s not just a single Ariadne’s thread you have to pull on, it’s dozens and dozens of threads.”

According to Beccuau, the case now extends to New York as well as the French Riviera, including Saint-Tropez and Cannes – fashionable playgrounds where Epstein spent considerable time and where French investigators believe parts of his predatory operation functioned.

The prosecutor said that investigators have identified 26 victims, including 13 who had never previously appeared in an Epstein-related case. She added that eight still need to be interviewed, including some who could be living abroad.

France was a significant base for Epstein, where the disgraced financier owned a lavish apartment on Avenue Foch in Paris; former employees told investigators that young women regularly came for massages there. While living in the French capital, Epstein also frequently courted members of the French elite.

The first French investigation, opened after Epstein’s death in 2019, quickly centered on modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, whom investigators suspected of being his principal recruiter in France. Brunel was indicted on charges of raping minors and sexual harassment after being accused of sexual violence by 11 women. In 2022, he died by suicide in a Paris prison.

The probe then focused on Daniel Siad, another modeling scout whom former models accused of targeting young women with promises of fashion careers before sexually exploiting them or introducing them to powerful men.

In July, before the French authorities could gather enough evidence for arrest, Siad was found dead at his home near Paris. Prosecutors did not establish the cause of death but said an autopsy found no signs of recent violence linked to his death while revealing poor health and evidence of an earlier heart attack.

A GOVERNMENT THAT LIES

The most expensive purchase most Americans will ever make is their own government. Government costs the average American more than their home, more than their health care, more than their childrens' college education. Yet people who would spend a great deal of time kicking the tires before buying a new car spend disastrously little time checking out the government that sucks so much money out of them over their lifetimes.

Right now, looking under the hood of that expensive item called "government", we see a unified group of men and women who lied to send your children off to a war of conquest. Across this land there are thousands of families waking up to the knowledge that their sons and daughters were crippled and killed in Iraq for reasons other than what they were told.

First off, let's dispense with this crap about "Intelligence failures". An Intelligence Failure is when something is happening that you don't know about. You miss the evidence. Or you misinterpret the evidence you have.

But with regards to the claims about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, there was no evidence to miss or misinterpret. There could not be, since in hindsight there were no weapons to leave traces of evidence with. The story about weapons of mass destruction was just made up, and fraudulently manufactured "proof" created to support that lie. The mere existence of Tony Blair's dossier, plagiarized from a student thesis, is proof not only that the claims of Iraq WMDs were lies, but were known and conscious lies. Had their been any real proof, it would have been shared immediately between the various war-mongers. There would have been no need for Tony Blair to concoct his discredited Dossier. But, what the public were offered were mislabeled and blurry photos, made up dossiers, and balloon inflators misidentified as mobile biological weapons laboratories (which the British government knew about since they had sold the balloon inflators to Iraq in the first place).

So, there was no "intelligence failure". There was no intelligence with which to fail. The whole crock about Iraqi WMDs was a made-up fiction.

The government lied.

While only a few people created the lie, mostly connected with the Pentagon's Office of Special Projects and presumably via the Israeli spies since discovered within, coordinated with the similar propaganda group working out of Ariel Sharon's office, the fact is that the entire United States Government and the mainstream media news departments all signed onto that lie with a will. Now, news pundits and some members of Congress have since taken the position they ohgollygeewhiz but they were taken in by the lies as well. But this is just another face-saving deception. There is such a thing as due diligence and checking facts; behaviors expected of both journalists and congresscritters. Months before the invasion of Iraq, internet web sites like this one, using easily available facts, had discredited the claims of Iraq's WMDs, exposed Tony Blair's plagiarized dossier, and correctly identified those trailers as the balloon inflators they were. It must be assumed that Congressional offices and media corporations with large staffs and huge budgets would have had an easy time finding the same facts that web sites operating on spare change were able to find. Therefore, going along with the lies about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction had to be an intentional act of will.

The government lied.

What does it mean to live under a government that lies to you?

Is the war just, moral, and necessary? You cannot know for certain under a government that lies to you.

Are taxes legal and fair? You cannot know for certain under a government that lies to you.

Is the public money being spent wholly on the public? You cannot know for certain under a government that lies to you.

Are you really free? You cannot know for certain under a government that lies to you.

Is life in this nation really better than anywhere else? You cannot know for certain under a government that lies to you.

When you live under a government that lies, you cannot know anything for certain about your lives. All you can know is what you are told. And, because of the lies about the Iraq WMDs, what we know we are told is what the government tells us to trick us into agreeing with whatever their own purpose happens to be. And if, whether you know it or not, are are doing what the government wants, even to the deaths of your own children, then you are a slave.

Canada, Ukraine sign declaration for 100-year partnership

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a declaration Thursday for a 100-year partnership.

Carney said at a news conference in Calgary after a signing ceremony that the agreement looks beyond the war in Ukraine toward long-term cooperation.

"President Zelensky and I have just signed a declaration for 100-year partnership," he said, adding that in the coming months the two countries would “codify a long-term framework for cooperation across defense and security, trade and investment, reconstruction, energy, critical minerals and technology.”

Noting Calgary's ties to Ukraine, Carney said more than 350,000 Canadians of Ukrainian descent live in Alberta, including 70,000 in Calgary. He pointed to the city's innovative companies and institutions such as the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Describing the war as being at a turning point, Carney said Ukraine is now “neutralizing aerial threats from more than 600 kilometers (373 miles) away, while Russia relies on authoritarian regimes to refuel its war machine.”

He said drones would be central to Canada's defense rearmament, the largest in 70 years, as it works to “build Canada strong, Canada safe, Canada secure.”

Saying that Canada's armed forces currently hold roughly 2,000 drones, he said, "In the years to come, we will need millions," and noted the government launched the Defense Drone Initiative earlier this year to expand domestic manufacturing for the Canadian Armed Forces and Canadian Coast Guard.

He also announced a national drone marketplace that connects military units directly with nearly 400 Canadian suppliers, as part of a plan to build the capacity to produce millions of drones within two years. "Today's contracts will increase the number of drones available to the cap tenfold," he said.

Carney said Canada and Ukraine also finalized a deal to deliver air defense interceptors through the US Jumpstart mechanism, a "$350 million equipment package" aimed at protecting Ukraine.

Carney's drone marketplace announcement formally creates the Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace Supply Arrangement, a national digital platform modeled on Ukraine's Brave1 system meant to speed up the discovery, purchase and fielding of uncrewed and counter-drone technology for the Canadian Armed Forces and Coast Guard, according to a statement by his office.

The statement said Canada awarded initial contracts worth up to $50 million that will increase the number of drones deployed by the armed forces tenfold, describing it as a first step toward building capacity to produce millions of drones in two years.

The leaders also highlighted a new partnership between General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada and Ukraine's Green Tech Harvest to develop and produce drones, and announced nearly $23 million to counter hybrid threats to Ukraine, alongside energy support totaling hundreds of millions of dollars ahead of winter.

The statement noted that Canada will provide up to $40.1 million for Ukrainian veterans, and up to $6 million to help return deported Ukrainian children, with Canadian commitments to Ukraine now exceeding CAN$26 billion ($19 billion) since 2022.

Kerik was still serving as Correction Commissioner at the time, though he was already in line to become Police Commissioner—a transition that would occur only days before September 11.

The timing of this trip has long been a footnote in the broader narrative of that summer. But for researchers who have combed through the 9/11 Commission files and subsequent investigations, the proximity of Kerik’s travel to the attacks—and the company he kept while there—has never been fully explained.

The Money He Didn’t Declare

Two financial arrangements from that period have since been confirmed through court documents and journalistic investigation, both of which Kerik failed to disclose on his official financial statements.

First: In 2001, Israeli billionaire Eitan Wertheimer extended Kerik a $250,000 “unconditional loan.” The funds were ostensibly for a business venture, but the terms were remarkably generous—no collateral, no repayment schedule, and no apparent expectation of return. Kerik later claimed the money was a loan, but failed to report it as income or as a gift, a violation of New York City’s financial disclosure rules.

Second: In October 2001—just one month after the attacks—Kerik began receiving $236,000 in rent payments for two years, paid by none other than Steve Witkoff. Witkoff, a real estate developer and close associate of Donald Trump, covered Kerik’s housing costs at a time when Kerik was a public servant. Like the Wertheimer loan, this arrangement went undeclared.

Who is Eitan Wertheimer? At the time, he was one of Israel’s wealthiest industrialists, heir to the Iscar metalworking fortune. He was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency, an organization with a long and complicated relationship with U.S. intelligence files.

The Jewish Agency Connection

The Jewish Agency for Israel is a century-old institution responsible for facilitating Jewish immigration to Israel. It is, on its face, a charitable and administrative body. But FBI files declassified over the years have placed at least one notable figure within its orbit: Paul Kurzberg.

Kurzberg was one of the so-called “Dancing Israelis”—five men arrested on September 11, 2001, after witnesses in New Jersey reported seeing them cheering and celebrating as the towers collapsed. The men were employees of Urban Moving Systems, a New Jersey-based moving company that the FBI later concluded was “at least in part” a cover for Israeli intelligence operations. Kurzberg’s name appeared in FBI files in connection with the Jewish Agency.
