The new arms race thing is as close as an explanation as I've gotten, but if that's the case, why not use federal lands for this? I remember how big tech treated us during covid. Now we're supposed to stop asking questions and just blindly trust them? They're about to ruin my land. Why not put these data centers on old cargo ships and use ocean water for cooling? What if the big tech AI and data centers is a bubble? Or leads to hyperinflation? I want actual answers, not condescending name calling. Thats what liberals do.
