As for where to dig, I recommend you go over to Pro Publica and start looking into the Forms 990 (tax returns) of the nonprofits.
They are full of incriminating information, including connections, money laundering schemes, and names of foreign malign actors who are alleged to have been exploiting the "nonprofit" sector.
So that's a choice that you have, and it's way more productive than coming here to whine that the information into which others are digging is not being revealed quickly enough to satisfy you.
