Barring some new and previously unheard of economic system being rolled out, interest needs to increase to something sustainable in a system that can't just print money. Pre central bank generations could put their money in a savings account and get something like 7% interest on it without needing to manage any investments. Don't know if we're going back to the pre central bank way or something new or a little bit of both. But, "you're watching a movie". If the interest rate is increasing it's either because it's a part of the plan, or it's an expected event.
