That's called unlawfully extending a traffic stop. The people have the right to not answer questions, when an officer insists on continuing to ask the question they are unlawfully extending the stop.

You can absolutely ignore an unlawful order. Contrary to what cops think, whatever nonsense comes out of their mouth does not constitute a lawful order. We have the RIGHT to not answer questions, and cops don't have the authority to extend a traffic stop because you exercise your right not to answer questions.

You absolutely are not required to identify because an officer says he "requires it", such as for a report or "to document who I'm speaking with". There are specific conditions that must be met, depending on state, before you are LAWFULLY required to identify to police.
