My elderly parents are conservative, read Art of the deal, researched and were Trumpers before me. They put Trump signs in their yard and they didn't last the night (and this is a conservative state, Trump won by over 20 here). They put up 3 different signs and finally gave up…but it hurt them that in the US you couldn't show support for who you liked. It hurt them. Don't stoop to those levels.
