Trump threatened with 'political consequences' by his own supporters as dozens of doctors, lawmakers and advocates demand COVID vaccine ban

More than a hundred doctors, nurses, political figures and advocates have urged President Donald Trump to ban mRNA COVID vaccines.

In a letter signed by figures including Tucker Carlson, Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and former Trump supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene, the individuals called for an immediate suspension of the use of all mRNA-based technology, which includes the COVID and newly approved mRNA flu vaccines.

In the document, which was also sent to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, the signatories said the president had ‘failed’ to take action on mRNA vaccines despite what they claimed was 'evidence [of] the harm of this technology.'

Just weeks before midterm elections, they also threatened that if the administration continues to 'ignore our central issue of removing the mRNA platform, the MAHA and health freedom movements will withdraw their support of you, and you will face the political consequences.'

The letter was organized by the Americans for Health Freedom group, based in Texas, which campaigns against mRNA-based technologies and COVID shots.

In a response, a spokeswoman for HHS said in a statement to the Daily Mail: ‘Secretary Kennedy has been clear that he believes mRNA products warrant heightened scientific scrutiny.

‘HHS continues to support mRNA research where the science shows promise, including for hard-to-treat cancers.

'At the same time, HHS wound down investments in mRNA vaccines for upper respiratory viruses because the technology does not effectively protect against infection from rapidly mutating viruses such as COVID and flu.'

Major clinical trials showed that COVID vaccines are safe and effective at preventing hospitalization or death from the virus and major medical groups, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association support COVID vaccination.

This year, the FDA approved the new COVID booster vaccines for adults ages 65 years and over and those with at least one condition putting them at higher risk of a serious infection. During last year's virus season, more than 50 million Americans got COVID vaccines, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates, including seven million children.

Dr Mary Talley Bowden, an ear, nose and throat expert and founding member of Americans for Health Freedom, organized the letter to the White House and HHS.

She claimed that Greene, who she knew through her activist work, had texted her when she heard about the letter, saying: 'ADD MY NAME!!!'

Bowden also claimed she received a text from Carlson after he heard about the letter, writing: 'I would be honored to sign.'

The Daily Mail has contacted both Carlson and Greene for comment.

Signatories also included Dr Aseem Malhotra, a physician who has worked closely with RFK Jr on developing the Trump administration's MAHA agenda and has previously called for bans on COVID vaccines.

In the letter, Americans for Health Freedom said that the removal of mRNA shots was a centerpiece of the MAHA agenda.

They added that, if the vaccines were not banned, pregnant women and children were being put at risk by the continued use of COVID shots.

The CDC says that pregnant women and very young children are at higher risk from COVID because they have weaker immune systems.

According to a press release, Javunte Johnson, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm. An arrest warrant was also executed for Johnson for aggravated robbery. Authorities found the man, along with 12 other people, unloading stolen pallets of chicken valued at $250,000.

Quantrivious Shavers, 25, and Jessie Moore, 37, members of the group, were charged with felony possession of a handgun. Officers recovered three handguns from the incident as well as fentanyl and cocaine.

The driver of the truck, Robert Wilson, reportedly stated that he had brought the massive chicken haul as payment to Johnson to cover a drug debt.

DOJ Charges 16 Individuals For Election Crimes

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Sept. 18 announced charges against 16 people across seven states, alleging various election-related crimes.

The individuals are being accused of "unlawful voting by non-citizens in federal elections, false claims of citizenship to register or vote, and related offenses including wire fraud, naturalization fraud, passport fraud, and unlawful firearm purchases," the DOJ said in a statement.

Eight individuals, all of them immigrants, have been charged in Texas. This includes seven lawful permanent residents and an illegal immigrant.

The illegal immigrant, Moises Anwar Arellano-Alba, 36, from Mexico, is facing two charges of allegedly making a false statement of citizenship in order to register to vote and voting by an alien in a federal election.

Under Title 18 of U.S. Code Section 611, it is unlawful for an immigrant to vote in any federal or mixed election to select candidates for the posts of president, vice president, member of the Senate, member of the House of Representatives, presidential elector, resident commissioner, or delegate from the District of Columbia. Meanwhile, Title 18 of U.S. Code Section 1015 criminalizes knowingly making false statements regarding citizenship in registering to vote or actually casting votes.

Other charged individuals are three Mexicans, two Nigerians, and one person each from Congo and India.

In Idaho, Avila Gomez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, allegedly claimed to be a U.S. citizen and voted in the May 2022 and November 2024 elections, according to the DOJ. In addition, Gomez is accused of procuring Idaho identification cards through fraud. Title 18 of the U.S. Code Section 1028 makes it a crime to knowingly produce an identification document without lawful authority.

In Georgia, three people have been charged - an illegal immigrant and two suspected of being illegal immigrants.

The illegal immigrant, Analiea Milliscent Eccles, 44, from Venezuela, allegedly voted nine times between 2008 and 2024, the DOJ said.

Israel Is Expanding and Upgrading Compounds for Palestinian Militias in Gaza

At least five Israeli-backed Palestinian militias are operating out of compounds close to Israeli military bases across the Gaza Strip in areas east of the yellow line.

At least five Israeli-backed Palestinian militias are operating out of compounds in areas under Israeli military control across the Gaza Strip, according to satellite imagery and videos published online. Since the so-called ceasefire went into effect nearly a year ago, these compounds have been upgraded and expanded in size and sophistication, according to a preliminary analysis by Forensic Architecture. Many of these upgrades resemble Israeli military infrastructure, with berms, barracks, fences, and buildings. At least one compound in East Rafah includes new shops, classrooms, and a playground.

While there have been some splinter groups and defections, the five main Israel-backed Palestinian militias are known as:

Northern forces/Popular Army in Beit Lahia, led by Ashraf Al-Mansi

Popular Defense Forces in Shujaieya, east of Gaza City, led by Rami Halas

Free Homeland Forces in central/eastern Gaza near Deir al-Balah, led by Shawqi Abu Nasira

Counter-Terrorism Strike Force in southeastern Khan Younis, led by Hussam al-Astal

Popular Forces/Counter-Terrorism Service in East Rafah, led by Ghassan Al-Duhaini

Many of the militia leaders who rose to power in collaboration with Israel during the genocide in Gaza are former gang leaders with a history of criminal activity, were associated with jihadi groups, or are former Palestinian Authority security forces that were all sidelined after Hamas gained control of the enclave in 2007.

“These militias are not just Israel-backed. These militias are Israel-created,” Muhammad Shehada, a writer and analyst from Gaza and a visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, told Drop Site News. “The IDF and the Shin Bet [Israel’s domestic intelligence service] were the ones that recruited, funded, trained, provided shelter, accommodation, food, and so on to these gangs, brought them together, and designated each one of them a very specific turf that they operate in.”

Four of the five compounds where the militias are based are located very close to the “yellow line”—the demarcation of Israel’s line of control—and all are close to Israeli military bases. Israel has established nearly 40 military bases in areas across Gaza east of the yellow line. One militia compound located in east Khan Younis, right on the yellow line, is less than one kilometer from two Israeli military bases.

Initially, Israel’s primary objective for the gangs was to systematically loot aid coming into Gaza, starting around May 2024, as Israeli troops stood by and did not intervene. “That was the first use that Israel had for them: loot aid systematically while giving Israel plausible deniability,” Shehada said. “They eventually dressed them up in police uniforms with Palestinian logos on to pretend that they were some sort of a legitimate authority with a propaganda psyop operation behind them.” He added, “They suddenly became an organized militia instead of just bandits.”

Militia members are granted relative freedom of movement by the Israeli military and privileged access to resources, such as weapons and medical treatment within Israel. Militias have also conducted armed raids and attacks on Palestinians living near the yellow line in coordination with the Israeli military, who have backed them up with artillery and aerial support.

At least one compound in East Rafah includes new shops, classrooms, and a playground. A video published on April 2, 2026 shows the inside of a classroom equipped with air conditioning inside the compound of the Counter-Terrorism Service militia. In the video, Ghassan Al-Duhaini—who took over as commander of the Popular Forces militia, also known as the Counter-Terrorism Service, following the killing of its former leader Yasser Abu Shabbab—is seen touring a classroom as schoolchildren receive educational instruction. These compounds are not open to all Palestinians but are used for a select few, including the families of those affiliated with the militias.

Since the so-called ceasefire went into effect nearly a year ago, Israel has been fortifying military bases in the eastern part of the territory it controls and constructing a physical barrier walling off Palestinians from most of the Gaza Strip. In parallel, the compounds for the Israel-backed Palestinian militias have also been upgraded and fortified, including using Israeli construction materials such as T walls (a T-shaped structural barrier or wall panel).

‘Absurd and offensive’: Pauline Hanson slams endorsement by the KKK

The One Nation leader is furious after a long-time white supremacist leader in the US gave her the tick of approval.

Pauline Hanson is fuming after being endorsed by a US-based white supremacist and Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan for having great ideas.

The One Nation leader slammed Channel 9 as “disgusting” on Tuesday after it included the material in a new documentary called Trump’s America: The Divided States on YouTube.

Thomas Robb, a longtime leader of the Ku Klux Klan who also claims to be a Christian pastor, previously stated that he doesn’t believe Black people can be saved and go to heaven.

He is the current Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, also known as the Knights Party, having taken control of the organisation since 1989.

According to Nine, he mentioned Pauline Hanson unprompted while preparing for an interview, praising her politics.

“Is it heartening for you to see someone like anti-immigration Pauline Hanson doing well in Australia?” he was then asked by Channel 9 reporter Reid Butler.

“Yeah, yeah, it’s encouraging, absolutely,” Robb replied.

“She is demonised by the same element of people that wants to demonise us,” Mr Robb said.

“What I understand of her is she’s concerned about the immigrant, especially from Asia, China, and so on, coming into Australia, changing the racial complex of Australia, changing the culture, changing all the things that the people love and hold dear, and changing to something different. And she wants to restrict that.”

However, One Nation slammed the interview today as a “new low” for the media and any suggestion that the party was on a par with the KKK was “absurd and offensive.”

“This is disgusting and a new low for the Australian media,” Senator Hanson told news.com.au.

“The Ku Klux Klan is a white supremacist organisation with a long history of racial hatred, terror and violence. Yet Channel 9 sent an Australian journalist to the United States to seek them out, interview them and broadcast their views to Australians.

Fishing charter catches Air Force attack drone off Florida coast

The Air Force confirmed the LUCAS drone went down during testing two days before a charter crew found it floating off Florida.

An ocean fishing charter off the Florida Coast near Eglin Air Force Base had an unusually large, scaleless catch. The large gray behemoth in question was a U.S. military LUCAS drone, a one-way attack aircraft derived from a design modeled after Iran’s Shahed-136.

Base officials confirmed to Task & Purpose that the drone went down Sept. 17 during routine testing on the base’s range, two days before fishermen found it floating in the Gulf.

“On Thursday, Sept. 17, a LUCAS UAS impacted the water during routine scheduled testing on the Eglin AFB Range,” an Eglin spokesperson told Task & Purpose. “The aircraft has been recovered and is back in the Department’s possession.”

The War Zone first reported the drone’s recovery and that Eglin had acknowledged losing an unidentified test aircraft.

The fishermen who found the wayward drone, Hotspot Charters, were nearing the end of a day of fishing when they spotted debris in the water, including a cooler, pool floats and other beach trash. While cleaning up the refuse, they noticed what looked like an overturned skiff.

They immediately worried that a boat had capsized and moved closer to check. Instead, they found what appeared to be a military practice drone.

Daniel Arsenault, the charter boat captain, told Task & Purpose that the four customers aboard were military search-and-rescue helicopter pilots. Arsenault said their first instinct was to check for anyone who might need help.

The charter captain said they radioed the Coast Guard from about 20 miles southeast of Pensacola Pass but were told the service was already occupied with an active search. That’s when they decided to bring the drone back with them.

Of course, that wasn’t the first thing they did.
