Hopefully this foofaraw about taking out fake news will end in Trump making fake news illigal. I just went over the Smith Mundt Act and it has nothing to do with it. Everyone keeps saying "Repeal the Smith Mundt Act" What the hell good will that do?
I do certainly agree the Fake News needs to be held accountable. Maybe XLarge fines from FCC or the 3 strike rule & you lose your liscence for News Outlets & Journalist? Something along those lines.

The Smith Mundt Act was set up during wartime to send news of the US to other countries. This news sent to other countries was not allowed to be shared into the American population. So, bassically the modernization of the Act done in 2013 allowed the American public to hear the same stories being sent to other countries which was bassically propaganda. Am I
getting that straight?
It still doesn't stop the Media outlets from flat out lying. I'm sure the FCC currently has the power to revoke their liscences right?
