TRAGIC IDF ACCIDENT IN NORTHERN GAZA
Two Israeli reservists were killed after an armed FPV drone malfunctioned and crashed inside an IDF position.
Master Sgt. (res.) Nadav Kali, 24, of Har Halutz, and Master Sgt. (res.) Ofek Moalem, 23, of Jerusalem, both served in the Jerusalem Brigade’s 7007th Battalion.
Initial findings indicate the drone remained on the ground for several minutes before exploding as the soldiers attempted to recover it.
The IDF has suspended operations involving small explosive-carrying drones while the incident is investigated.
