An anon mentioned here that this month, the Kansas City Royals had scheduled to have a veteran sing the National Anthem before a game, and that this vet had promised to wear a Q shirt for the performance. Not sure if it has happened or will actually happen.
But if more groups like this (local singers who do the Anthem or God Bless America at sports events, players, coaches…) would promote Q to the large swath of America that follows sports, that would make a big impact.
It doesn't have to just be pro sports. It can be minor leagues, regional leagues, college sports…
would it help to have memes made for each pro baseball/basketball/football/hockey team made with a slogan like "Steelers fans back Q… and so should you" ? I am an oldfag with limited meming experience, but could give it a shot if it would be a worthwhile endeavor.
