I thought it was a gee-up, but the draft legislation actually refers to “sock puppets” and allows eSafety Karen to create these “false or fictitious identities” to generate any type of “material” (propaganda) — “without limitation” — using “artificial intelligence.”
Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.

This proposed legislation empowers eSafety Karen to create an unlimited number of fake accounts using artificial intelligence to “generate material” — that is: anything the government wants to push.
Australians need to rise up. Civil disobedience might even be needed to stop such laws.
This cannot be allowed to pass Parliament.
