Special elections are always difficult for the prevailing party. The challengers make a greater impact by percentage when they use old-fashioned GOTV (get out the vote) techniques.

There were some state races in Oklahoma last year where seats flipped parties because of the timing.

It is, as you suspect, so very important that every voter exercises their right to vote. I don't think, at least in this race, that tomfoolery was at play.

It's a crazy tough time of the year to hold a final election.

I don't care which side gets whacked, as long as it all shakes out.

Primary was June, so no.

Remember who the SEC head is folks? Fudgesicles, I can't get it out of my head without more coffee. She got the job right after … and is married to…

I need a better processor for a brain.

Anyway - it looks to be a relatively safe district for hime with 2/3 of the vote. Should be easy to sway voters as vendetta - unless, of course, it is true.

In typical POTUS fashion, could see this being the crack that cleaves the iceberg when it comes to insider trading in Congress.

We've watched it time and again. Slap at POTUS and/or allies, end up bringing down your own side in a D5 avalanche.

Glad for this one. The markets are so corrupt.
