Mark Carney Blames USA for Layoffs of Canadian Steel Workers

When asked about a statement this week where Stelco Holdings Inc. announced they were laying off 500 workers from their steel plant in Hamilton, Ontario, immediately Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney blamed the United States.

He’s lying. It’s ridiculous. However, that’s all Carney can do at this point.

In reality it is (1) Canadian energy, climate and manufacturing policy; in combination with (2) the specific decision to allow the import of cheap steel from China; in combination with the decision to (3) rebuke U.S requests to stop purchasing that Chinese steel; that has driven out Canadian steel manufacturing.

This announcement by Stelco happened on the exact same day that President Trump announced a new $18billion investment in U.S. steel manufacturing in Iowa. {SOURCE}

In fact, in a world full of irony, during a media segment discussing the closure of the Canadian steel plant, CBC cut away to live feed of President Trump who was making the Iowa steel plant announcement. The timing was rather remarkable.

CNN’s Harry Enten dashed the hopes of Democrats everywhere with his latest polling numbers.

Even after the nonstop attacks on America’s greatest President, Donald Trump, Republicans are awake and alert. They know what a Democrat win in the US House and Senate will mean for America.

More communism, more persecution, higher energy prices, fewer individual rights, a weak national security, open borders, millions of undocumented aliens, and mothers killing unborn babies and now even their live babies!

This is the modern-day Democrat Party — And it’s absolutely terrifying!

On Monday, Harry Enten broke the sad news for the CNN audience that Republicans are surging! Today 71% of Democrats say they are certain to vote. And now… 71% of Republicans are also certain they will vote! That number will only grow higher!

Democrats are just too damn crazy and dangerous!

And look at this, MAGA Republicans, the same. It’s simpatico. It’s simpatico.

So MAGA Republicans are not just saying that they are still supporting Trump. MAGA Republicans aren’t just saying they’re going to— their choice for Congress is, in fact, Republicans at basically the same level they voted for Trump. But they’re also saying they are going to turn out in very high numbers, at least comparable to Democrats. Now, this leaves us a bit of a mathematical equation, right?

CNN Crashes Out Over Being Shunned By The White House Off Air Force One

Woke CNN chief media analyst Brian Stelter and anchor Jake Tapper criticized the Trump White House after CNN was barred from traveling aboard Air Force One during President Donald Trump’s Saturday trip to a Tennessee–Texas college football game. CNN had been scheduled to serve as the rotating television pool network, recording the president’s activities and sharing footage with ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC when space was limited.

“He is picking a fight with the people who are telling unpleasant truths about his administration,” Stelter said on CNN, warning, “Today, yes, it happens to be CNN, but tomorrow it could be any other news outlet.”Tapper raised the exclusion Sunday with U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz, saying, “I would just ask if you could please convey to President Trump to let CNN back in the pool.”

“It was not OK when President Obama tried to freeze FOX out of the pool back in 2009,” Tapper added, arguing that presidents should not decide which organizations may cover them. Waltz defended the administration’s position by calling for “fair and objective and well-sourced reporting” and alleging that some coverage followed a “negative agenda” rather than the facts.

The Air Force One dispute followed Trump’s broader decision to revoke White House access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico because, he said on Truth Social, they reported “FICTION and LIES.” U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly temporarily restored the outlets’ White House credentials after finding likely due-process violations, but his order addressed access to the White House grounds and did not explicitly cover Air Force One or pool assignments.

In a video posted to social media by the White House over the weekend, Trump reiterated his justification by telling a reporter, “I want real news, not fake news,” while Tapper attempted to counter by saying that every president he had covered had been frustrated with the press.
