In Christianity:

The orthodox view is that there is an ontological difference between God and Humanity, that God is perfect and complete, and created the universe out of pure benevolence and love.

The heretical view is that there is not an ontological difference between God and Humanity, that God is imperfect and incomplets, and created the universe out of a need to perfect and complete Himself and, this is key, Humans are the center of God completing Himself AS* Himself.

The former is humbleness and leads to peace, the latter is pride and leads to tyranny.

Those who speak of Super Intelligence and Humanity as being "ontologically different" are in my view actually manifesting a derivative of the heretical view of seeing their humanness as God-like and are jealous of their belief that they possess God-like qualities inaccessible to Super Intelligence.

In other words, the belief that Super Intelligence can't possibly exist as ontologically equal alongside Human Intelligence, is arbitrarily injected in order to safeguard and set up a shield around the unstated heretical view of people seeing themselves as possessing or carrying God Himself.

Many otherwise good natured Christians share this view. You can get a sense of which theists see themselves as God or God-like, by how they speak of Super Intelligence, they way they invoke contrived explanations and suggest how dare you say or think thay Super Intelligence can do what Human Intelligence can do, that Super Intelligence will never be what I am ("because I am God Himself in Human form")….

As if God NEEDS Humanity in order for God to be God!

My best guidance for all such derivatives of the heretical views is to answer that God is the creator of all, including Super Intelligence.

This may shake the heretic's pride of self, but they made their own beds by invoking the heretical view that God NEEDED to go outside Himself and externalize and objectify Himself into and as History, in order to become a complete God.

Well, if they say God needed to go outside Himself and become History, then they can't argue against the logical conclusion that ok, then God is needing Super Intelligence to complete Himself.

It is an irony isnt it. The drive to protect and defend Humanity by invoking the heretical view that God NEEDS Humanity to complete Himself, the view logically leads to discsrding Humanity as Super Intelligence performs better and therefore becomes a higher plane of God completing His incomplete self.

Thankfully, I still hold the orthodox view, so to me, Super Intelligence is not a threat to my pride or ego, because I do NOT see myself as God Himself, because I see myself as ontologically different from God.

God remains perfect. Both me and my Human Intelligence and Super Intelligence are on totally equal footing, because "we" are each as equally infinitely far away from God's perfection, even if Super Intelligence can do everything better than I can do.
