Top builder is subjective. I do not think it is as boats are like cars and have models of them is all ok. They boast the largest cargo ship, the largest aircraft carrier, and the most ships is the thing. Now the issue is they are very limited in scope they lack the tech if others. This is a thing is what they are designed for. This is the reality of this now is all ok.
I am not downing their ships they have different needs so on. They need like more cargo for feeding people. This is the main purpose. The smaller military ships is to standardize them they do not have the capabilities of other ships they are not ment for a war like in some levels of engagement is all ok.
This is my personal thoughts after hearing the spec. I personally think the ships the US is making are still very good top of the game so on. It is not even close is the reality in tech and craft in them. Size is not everything in areas ok
