Angela Paxton Demolishes Leftist Dreams: Estranged Wife of Ken Paxton Urges Conservative Voters to ‘Hold the Line’ and Vote GOP Straight Down the Ticket!

by Jim Hᴏft Oct. 3, 2026 8:20 pm

Texas State Senator Angela Paxton is sending a clear message to Republican voters ahead of November:whatever personal disagreements they may have with individual candidates, vote Republican.

Angela Paxton, the estranged wife of Texas Attorney General and Republican U.S. Senate nominee Ken Paxton, appeared in a new television advertisement urging Texans to back the Republican ticket on November 3. The 30-second ad was released Saturday by Texas PAC and highlighted by AdImpact Politics.

And while Angela Paxton never mentions her estranged husband by name, the message is impossible to miss.Ken Paxton is the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate against Democrat State Rep. James Talarico. “I’m Texas Senator Angela Paxton. People have asked my thoughts about this election and turns out, I have some,” she says, looking straight into the camera.

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. In a general election, it’s not as much about the individual players on the team. It’s about getting the whole team across the finish line. Either we hold every Republican seat, or we hand the future of Texas to the other team. That’s why I’m voting for the Republican ticket on November 3rd. Let’s hold the line together.”

Angela Paxton said essentially the same thing on September 18 to the Texas Federation of Republican Women, in a speech titled “The Elephant in the Room.”

According to the Texas Tribune, she told the room the seat matters more than the candidate: “Because we have more control over that seat and the future when we control the seat, when it’s still in the family, even if we’re mad at them.” Lose it to the other team, she warned, and the fixes conservatives want become impossible.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Angela Paxton announced the divorce filing on July 10, 2025, after 38 years of marriage. “I believe marriage is a sacred covenant, and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation,” she wrote on X.

“But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage.” Her petition cited adultery. Ken Paxton’s legal team has denied the allegations. The couple had already been living apart.

The establishment pounced within hours. The Gateway Pundit reported the next day that the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the same McConnell-era machine that had already endorsed Cornyn over the Trump-backed attorney general, rushed out a statement trashing Paxton over a divorce announced that morning. It looked coordinated. It did not work. Paxton crushed Cornyn in the May runoff and took the nomination.

Democrats and their media allies have treated the marriage as the campaign. They should remember what happened the last time the Texas political class tried to bury Ken Paxton. In 2023 the RINO-run Texas House, led by Dade Phelan, impeached him in a sham proceeding that fixated on an extramarital affair and allegations his own accusers could not back with evidence.

The Texas Senate acquitted him on all 16 articles. The Gateway Pundit reported Paxton’s statement after the acquittal, in which he thanked “my amazing wife Angela,” calling her “a brave woman of deep faith, unquestionable integrity, and the light of our entire family.” She recused herself from the trial.

President Trump endorsed Paxton over Cornyn and has already promised rallies. At the RNC’s midterm convention in Dallas last month, Paxton told the crowd,“If we lose Texas, we lose the Common Sense Revolution. If we lose the Common Sense Revolution, we lose America.”

Texas has not elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1988, and Trump carried the state by nearly 14 points in 2024, but public sham “polls” have shown Talarico competitive.

Republican groups are treating it like a firewall: CNN has reported GOP-aligned spending in the race is on track to blow past $300 million.

DataRepublican (small r) on X: "Traveling today and updates intermittent, but Florida mail-ins shifted 2 points redder overnight relative to 2024 margins, and will overtake 2024 mail-in margins next week at this rate. I am still seeing an inverse pattern where R's are underperforming in rural counties and D's are underperforming in urban counties. Then it's just arguing how much handicap to give to Democrats because of the post-2024 Republican registration advantage. But needless to say, this is a good place for FL GOP to be in, with the caveat that this could change quickly with in-person early voting. Also, Democrats aren't suddenly getting more popular in Florida. It's just a slowdown in registration volume as we approach book closing."
