Russia strikes data center and logistics hub in Ukraine – MOD (VIDEO)

Moscow says its forces also struck military targets across the country, including supply ships off Odessa, while air defenses downed more than 1,200 drones

The Russian military has struck a data center and a logistics hub in Ukraine, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said on Sunday.

The ministry said that Geran drones targeted a Nova Poshta logistics center in Chernomorsk and a data center in Odessa. Footage released by the MOD shows direct hits on both facilities. Russia has increasingly targeted Ukrainian data centers in recent strikes, with internet and mobile providers reporting damage and connectivity disruptions.

Additionally, Russian forces struck two dry-cargo vessels carrying military supplies to the port of Odessa, hit a drone command post, destroyed an air-surveillance radar, and struck military-used transport infrastructure, weapons depots, drone storage sites, and positions housing Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries across 147 locations. It later added that its forces struck Kiev’s Severny road bridge across the Dnieper, which it said was used to move troops and military cargo.

The ministry also reported that its air defenses downed four guided bombs, three US-made HIMARS rockets, and 1,222 fixed-wing drones over the past 24 hours. The ministry further said Russian forces tightened an encirclement in northeastern Kharkov Region and advanced elsewhere, including in northern and central Dobropolye.

Both Kiev and Moscow have ramped up long-range strikes in recent weeks following Ukraine’s botched “pressure campaign,”which saw Kiev intensify drone attacks on Russian civilian and energy infrastructure amid battlefield setbacks. The attacks hit energy facilities, civilian warehouses and logistics hubs, residential buildings, and resort areas, as well as polling stations during last month’s parliamentary elections.

Russia has retaliated by sharply expanding strikes on Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, shipping, and key ports handling military-related imports. The campaign has severely disrupted Ukrainian Black Sea shipping and logistics. Moscow maintains that it targets only infrastructure supporting Ukraine’s war effort.

President Vladimir Putin recently warned that Ukraine faces a “catastrophic scenario”after “opening Pandora’s box” by attacking Russian economic and civilian infrastructure, which ultimately failed to alter the course of the conflict. Putin also warned that with its “provocative actions,” Kiev was only hindering a peaceful settlement rather than bringing one closer.

Despite the mounting toll, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky vowed on Saturday to further intensify strikes on Russian oil facilities. The Russian Defense Ministry responded on Sunday by pledging to step up its own campaign. The ministry said Ukrainians “should blame only the head of the Kiev regime” for any further escalation, adding that his threats meant he “bears full personal and political responsibility for it.”

‘Russia is not our enemy’: Hundreds rally in Paris against Ukraine aid (VIDEO)

Former French MEP Florian Philippot has argued that Western assistance should be spent to lower petrol taxes

Hundreds of anti-government protesters took to the streets of Paris on Saturday to rally against continued aid to Ukraine as part of a nationwide protest organized by former MEP Florian Philippot, who is running in France’s 2027 presidential election.

The protesters called on French President Emmanuel Macron to halt aid to Ukraine and pushed for France’s withdrawal from the EU and all supranational institutions, including NATO. Apart from Paris, the right-wing Les Patriotes party, led by Philippot, organized rallies in Aubiere, Annecy, Grenoble, Perigueux and Chaumont, highlighting issues such as fuel costs, freedom of expression and peace.

The demonstration comes after a series of mass protests has gripped France in recent weeks, with students taking to the streets alongside broader labor actions over wages, public spending, working conditions and the government’s budget plans.

Philippot, a prominent Eurosceptic, marched through Paris with supporters, who waved French flags, as well as banners reading “Russia is not our enemy,” and calling for France to stay out of the Ukraine conflict.

We must leave NATO, we must stop funding the war in Ukraine and stop arming it as well,” he stressed. “Instead of putting money over there, it must be put into lowering taxes on petrol, for example, because people can’t take it anymore.”

A Philippot supporter argued that “war efforts don’t achieve much,”calling for greater spending on “hospitals, education, and a whole range of budgets that are humane.”

The nationwide unrest comes as the French government unveiled its proposed 2027 budget earlier this week, targeting €54 billion in measures to bring the budget deficit to 5% of GDP, including spending cuts and freezes affecting public services, pensions and social benefits.

Philippot tore up an EU flag in front of demonstrators, saying, “This blue-starred rag is not our flag and never will be. So today, we are obviously going to get rid of it, because our fight is to get out of this horror through Frexit.”

Earlier this week, the EU reiterated its commitment to the €90 billion ($101 billion) loan aimed at covering the Ukrainian government’s budgetary and military financing needs for 2026 and 2027.
