As cool as it would be for Alberta to vote to leave, I don't see it happening. More mail-in-votes have been requested for this referendum than any other previous election mail-in-vote count combined. Then there's some law that even if Alberta votes to leave, they need the permission of other provinces if they want to leave. Also need the permission of the indigenous natives, pretty sure Trudeau set them up with that with his "reconciliation" bullshit, similar to the "reparations" thing in the US. Guess everyone will find out on the 19th, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the first vote in Alberta that'll take multiple days to count because of the "mail-in-ballots."
