It gives lots of subtle hints in there to nudge one along a spiritual path that will lead to Gnosis / Theosis / Unity Consciousness, but the kicker is once you've deconstructed and reconstructed you realize that no one is actually coming to save you and that's when the real work of changing the world begins. History isn't given, it's taken, and it's always taken by whoever can write the coolest sounding version of the story.
