DOJ Moves to Strip Citizenship from Criminals in ‘Largest Denaturalization Effort in Modern History’

The Department of Justice announced on Monday that it had filed denaturalization actions against 40 people accused of serious crimes or acting as agents for foreign governments. The actions were filed in various U.S. district courts, with one individual being accused of committing aggravated sodomy against a special needs man, according to a Justice Department news release.

The DOJ’s Office of Public Affairs said the complaints, filed between Aug. 21 and Oct. 2, 2026, amount to “the largest volume of complaints submitted in a single period under the Trump administration.”

“Under the Immigration and Nationality Act, a naturalized U.S. citizen’s citizenship may be revoked, and certificate of naturalization canceled, if the naturalization was illegally procured or procured by concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation,” the release noted.

Attorney General Todd Blanche said, “Today’s announcement marks the largest denaturalization effort in modern history.”

“From an individual convicted of espionage to others convicted of sexual offenses against minors, these defendants concealed critical facts from the U.S. government and represent serious criminal offenders,” he continued.

Blanche added, “Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice will continue to employ the denaturalization process to maintain our national security and protect the American people.”

Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate of the Justice Department’s Civil Division also commented on the news, saying, “Every single one of these individuals lied their way into U.S. citizenship.”

“This administration will continue to pursue the largest denaturalization effort in department history to restore trust and integrity in U.S. citizenship,” he declared. “Our message is clear: the United States will not tolerate deception in the naturalization process.”

The ages of the accused ranged from mid-30s to mid-70s, and they hail from Mexico, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Cameroon, Nepal, Peru, Haiti, Ghana, China, and Cambodia.

The crimes varied from sexual abuse and manslaughter to espionage and fraud.

This operation is in line with President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration agenda that has included deportations, visa reform, and a willingness to use denaturalization as a deterrent against future criminal activity.

This news comes less than one week after the Justice Department announced it had indicted 10 foreign nationals from various countries who are accused of illegally voting in Minnesota elections.

“The law is clear, only American citizens may vote in American elections, and enforcing this law is fundamental to our democracy,” Blanche said. “That should not be a partisan concept.”

The denaturalization move also comes on the heels of the Department of Homeland Security publicizing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement made a barrage of high-profile arrests late last month that included “murderers, child sexual predators, and child abusers who should not have been in our country in the first place.”

Those indicted were from Cuba, Laos, Mexico, Nigeria, Micronesia, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador.

The list of offenses included murder, sexual abuse of a minor, assault, and drug possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl.

Former CIA Senior Officer Enters Guilty Plea After Stealing Millions from Government

You might remember the story of CIA senior officer David J. Rush, 49, of Ashburn, Virginia, who was indicted after an FBI investigation found gold bars, cash in dollars and euros as well as luxury cars and dozens of luxury watches.

Today the DOJ announced that Rush has plead guilty {pdf SEE HERE} in a deal where he will admit to one count of wire fraud, and that will permit the DOJ to finish prosecuting the case without revealing extremely sensitive information about the CIA operations Rush was involved in.

Rush stands accused of manipulating more than $195 million in wire transfers to his own accounts, after setting up covert fake CIA operations centered around unknown foreign intelligence efforts. When you read the plea agreement that stipulates the facts of his activity, it certainly sounds like David Rush was able to execute the fraud under the auspices of Ukraine operations.

To be clear, there’s no mention of Ukraine, but the scale of the money involved, the timing of the activity,the location of the real estate and the attributes of the money and gold (as described) sound very Ukrainian-ish.

DOJ PRESS RELEASE – […] On May 19, 2026, the FBI searched Rush’s residence and recovered 298 gold bars, approximately $2,106,550 in cash, €104,795, and numerous luxury watches. Rush had obtained the gold bars at an approximate cost to the government of $46 million. Pursuant to the plea agreement, Rush has agreed to forfeit the gold bars and currency found at his home, the fraudulently obtained properties, 30 watches (many of which were Rolexes), and two 2026 BMW Alpina vehicles, at least one of which is valued at approximately $172,000.

Rush is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 28, 2027. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, forfeiture, restitution, and a fine. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. (much more)

In addition to the theft, schemes and fraud, inside the plea document Rush admitted that in late 2025he disclosed “certain descriptive information of a U.S. government clandestine human source” that could “endanger the safety and life of a CIA human sourceand the U.S. government officers working with the source,” as well as jeopardize America’s “ability to recruit human sources, who rely on the U.S. government’s assurance of absolute secrecy.”

This guy was so deep inside covert (sketchy) CIA stuff, the DOJ dropped a bazillion other charge options and gave him a plea deal for a single count of wire fraud.

Former Head of German Intelligence Arrested for Espionage, Treason and Other Sketchy Stuff

The case against the former head of German Intelligence, August Hanning, isseriously sketchy.

Hanning, 80, was arrested in Bad Toelz-Wolfratshausen in southern Germany. His former Chief of Staff, Manfred D., was also arrested Tuesday in Steinfurt in western Germany and has been charged with aiding and abetting attempted treason and treasonous espionage.

Police were investigating Hanning in 2025 in relation to his involvement in organizing a kidnapping plot. When police searched his residence, they found documents outlining his activity in receiving state secrets from inside German intelligence and selling classified analysis to a foreign government (not Russia).

Apparently when Hanning left as head of German intelligence, his chief of staff “Manfred” remained at work. Manfred then continued to give Hanning information from inside German intelligence, which Hanning then used to sell his services to foreign enterprises.

The information Manfred gave Hanning related to intelligence on Russia and Iran that Germany gathered from partnerships with the USA and Israel. In essence,Hanning was selling 5-eyes secret intelligence on Russia and Iran, to foreign interests. Hanning was receiving the intelligence from Manfred, his former chief of staff.

GERMANY – A former German spy chief was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of espionage and treason, an embarrassing case at a time when the country is seeking to broaden the powers of its intelligence agencies.

August Hanning, who ran Germany’s BND foreign intelligence agency from 1998 to 2005, is accused of espionage, treason and working for foreign intelligence services, federal prosecutors said.

They did not say which foreign powers were involved. However, AFP understands it was not Russia.

The news magazine Spiegel, citing unnamed sources, reported thatHanning had been in contact with an intelligence operative for Azerbaijan.

Hanning’s former chief of staff, partially named as Manfred D. who continued working for the spy agency until March 2026, was also arrested.

He is accused of obtaining classified information while working for Hanning’s successors and selling them to his former boss, who was working as a private sector consultant.

Hanning then allegedly used the information in his private consulting work, which included preparing a briefing for a foreign spy and passing information to an agent of another foreign intelligence service, prosecutors said.

[…] According to prosecutors, Manfred D. provided Hanning with approximately 2,000 documents, many with classified information.

Hanning — who served as the top civil servant in the interior ministry from 2005-2009 — used classified intelligence “to draft an analysis for an officer of a foreign intelligence service”, although it is not clear if “the material reached the intended recipient”.

He is also accused of being “in close contact with a representative of another foreign intelligence service, to whom he passed on political information, partially based on material provided by Manfred D., for several years”.

According to the ARD broadcaster, the information that Manfred D. passed on included material on the Iranian nuclear programme and the Russian army.

It quoted security sources as saying some of the information came from partner intelligence agencies abroad. (read more)

Republicans Starting to Realize They Have a Shot at Picking Up a Senate Seat in Minnesota With Michele Tafoya(VIDEO)

Michele Tafoya, the former sports broadcaster running as a Republican in the Minnesota Senate race, is hitting the campaign trail hard and voters in the state are taking her very seriously.

This could be the sleeper race of 2026. Even John Thune has been in Minnesota campaigning with her.

Tonight on FOX News, Bret Baier devoted an entire segment to Tafoya’s rise and the fact that the GOP increasingly sees this election as a possible pickup in the Senate.

The issue of fraud is taking a toll on Democrat candidate Peggy Flanagan.

Republican U.S. Sen. John Thune of South Dakota, who serves as Senate majority leader, traveled to Minnesota Tuesday to join Michele Tafoya for a series of campaign stops as polling continues to show a tight race for Minnesota’s open U.S. Senate seat.

Thune and Tafoya visited Cambria, where they met with company leadership and workers before participating in an agricultural roundtable with farmers hosted by the Minnesota Farm Bureau, which has endorsed Tafoya’s campaign. The visit also included a fundraiser for Tafoya’s campaign that raised nearly $300,000.

“The best farm policy comes from producers, from people who are actually out there making a living on the farm,” Thune said during a press conference at Pfarr Family Farm in Le Sueur. “We can have all these meetings in Washington as we’re talking about policy, but there’s no substitute for getting out and hearing firsthand from the people who are actually out there producing the food and fiber that feeds and clothes and fuels our world.”

Thune said securing year-round E15 remains one of his priorities as Congress works on a new farm bill, calling it “enormously helpful and important.”

“If you want to see fuel costs go down, create more supply of fuel, and we can do that with E15,” Thune said.

Democrats will absolutely lose their minds if they lose this seat in the Senate.

Cuban Priests Call for End to Communist Repression: ‘Enough!’

The bishop and clergy of the Episcopal Church in Cuba on Monday published an open letter urging the communist Castro regime to stop violently repressing Cubans and to listen to their demands for human rights — stressing that there has been “enough” of the violence.

The 21 signing priests, led by Bishop Ángel Roberto Rivera Rodríguez, called for Cuban authorities to stop demanding more “sacrifices” from the embattled Cuban population. The priests noted in the text that their reflection is a “wake-up call” to Cuban authorities that is not intended to “provoke confrontation but to foster dialogue.”

The Cuban Episcopal Church published a copy of the letter on both its official website and Facebook page, prefacing its text by quoting Luke 4:18-19 from the Bible. In the public missive, the priests addressed the repressed Cuban population stressing that, as the body of Jesus Christ on Earth, “We cannot remain silent in the face of the suffering we are all enduring at this moment in our history.”

The priests noted that Cuba is going through difficult times marked by mass migration that is tearing families apart and emptying communities, forcing prices up, and fostering growing inequality among Cubans that contradicts the dignity God has given to each of His children.The clergy also expressed their “deep dissatisfaction” with the hardships that Cubans are enduing, such as hunger, shortages of medicine, power blackouts, lack of water, and the “near-total” deterioration of Cuba’s healthcare and education systems.

“These are not abstract realities, rather, they manifest themselves in the lack of bread on the table, in the sick who go untreated, in the new generations deprived of an education, and in mothers without hope,” the letter reads in part.

The Church expressed its frustration and pain at Cuba law enforcement officials’ use of violence, intimidation, and harassment of Cubans who have raised their voices to demand basic rights that are enshrined in the nation’s own constitution. The Cuban priests emphasized that to silence the voices of young Cubans is to silence “the present and future of our homeland.”

“In light of all this, we say: Enough!!” The text read. “Because we firmly believe that no Cuban should raise a hand against another Cuban, neither for political reasons nor for any other reason.”

“We stand with the most vulnerable and dispossessed, and with all those who are directly suffering for their determination to freely express their discontent,” the text continued.

• The Episcopal Church made an appeal to the mercy of God so that Cuban authorities listen to the clamor of the Cuban people, “whom they are called to serve and protect, not to keep asking for more sacrifices.”

“The clergy of the Episcopal Church in Cuba is here, and will always be here, to accompany and serve our people with the faithfulness demanded by the cross of the Lord,” the letter read. “We affirm the justice and truth embodied in the message of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we ardently hope that they will embrace Cuba and all of us who live here.”

The Episcopal Church also joined other Christian denominations in Cuba and thousands of Cubans in expressing their solidarity with young dissident influencer Anna Sofía Benítez and her mother Caridad Silvente. The pair was recently convicted and sentenced to two years of “limited liberty” for having recorded and published a video of a visit they received from a Cuban State Security agent on March 10. At the time, Cuba-focused outlets detailed, the agent delivered a citation instructing Benítez to appear before Cuban authorities over the content of her anti-regime social media videos.

The Cuban communist regime has a nearly seven-decade-long record of persecuting Christians in Cuba since late communist dictator Fidel Castro outlawed Christianity after forcefully taking power in 1959. As Breitbart News reported, Cuba is one of the world’s most dangerous places to freely practice Christianity. In spite of that, the country has experienced a resurgence in Christian prayer gatherings over the past months.
