UFO Spotted Leaving a Missouri Taco Bell Drive-Thru

This was truly a close encounter that will have you wanting to run for the border. A customer in a Missouri Taco Bell drive-thru reported saw a UFO that was flying just above the restaurant before disappearing from sight.
Believe it or not, this was really an official report just shared with the National UFO Reporting Center. The official eyewitness report from Springfield, Missouri says this unidentified flying object was spotted the night of October 2, 2026.
Here is a snippet of their exact words so you know I'm not making any of this up:
"It was flying a little higher than the taco bell building but it was headed out of the drive thru and headed to the right behind a tree…It was too dark to see what color but it looked like there were three spheres with light/fire underneath it to make it fly.
I thought it looked like 2 or 3 people were inside of it but not sure. It did have bright lights tho. Tried to follow but I wasn't fast enough"
I don't know which Springfield, Missouri Taco Bell this encounter with E.T. happened at so I chose one. This is the one in Springfield on E. Sunshine Street which sounds like a typical UFO encounter place.
While I'm a little skeptical of some of the details that were shared, I will give this eyewitness credit. They reported it to the NUFORC less than two hours after it happened. That's faster than most reports.
It also happened around 8:11pm according to the NUFORC report so this wasn't a midnight taco run after…well, let's just say extracurricular activities of the herb kind.
Did this person see a UFO fly out of a Taco Bell drive-thru in Springfield, Missouri?
I have no idea, but I will say this isn't the craziest story I've ever heard shared from Springfield. Have you seen the city's many appearances on COPS?

OpenAI Insider Tells NYT’s Ezra Klein They’ve Created ‘Alien Mind’

A former safety official with OpenAI described the technology as an “alien mind” as The New York Times’ Ezra Klein pushed him to define exactly what that means amid growing concerns about the rapidly progressing tech.
David Robinson, who previously worked on OpenAI’s Safety Systems team and was the head of safety transparency, joined Klein on The Ezra Klein Show on Wednesday to discuss his recent resignation from OpenAI.
In an Atlantic op-ed, Robinson described the culture around the AI industry as “broken,” warning companies are prioritizing rapid progress over necessary safety precautions.
“I believe in humanity. I think we are going to survive. I think there are a lot of things that could happen with this technology that could be very, very harmful,” Robinson told Klein.
Klein noted that tech leaders have very different descriptions of what AI is, saying some describe it as simply “software” while others call it an “alien mind.”
“So what is it, man?” he asked.
“An alien mind,” Robinson said.
He explained:
It is a thing we grew. We did not engineer it. We engineered the systems around it that grew and then try to keep it safe.
We grew a mind. Fundamentally, nobody knows why pre-training works, which is the big hard part where we take lots of inputs and create this basically intelligent thing.
Then we bolt on stuff and we put do post-training, these other things to make it more useful. But this is just a thing that is observed to work, that we do.
Concerns about AI have grown as more and more leaders in the industry have warned about the technology’s quick progress.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei recently warned that we “must slow down the pace” of AI, claiming rogue AI agents could take over the entire internet within a year if the right safety measures and oversight are not placed on the industry.
That warning followed Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon resigning and warning AI could “kill us all” within a decade.

New Records Reveal Repeated Drone Flights Over U.S. Nuclear Sites, Including Reactors Near Langley Air Force Base

Liberation Times obtained 67 NRC drone-related reports covering 28 nuclear sites across 17 states, with accounts spanning February 2024 to March 2026.

Repeated flights were reported over Surry Nuclear Power Plant, roughly 20 miles from Langley Air Force Base, including one over both reactor containment buildings. A separate account records radar confirmation from nearby Fort Eustis.

Surry security described a triangular-looking drone and two smaller drones zigzagging around a larger aircraft before all three disappeared from view.

Aircraft estimated to be the size of small cars were reported at New Jersey’s Hope Creek. At Connecticut’s Millstone, security described a five-foot-wide, V-shaped drone that flew over a reactor building.

Four drones were reported over Nuclear Fuel Services in Tennessee, which manufactures fuel material for U.S. Navy nuclear reactors. One reportedly appeared to be a ten-foot-by-ten-foot rotary craft.

At Haddam Neck’s spent-fuel storage site, security recorded a drone apparently matching the site’s decision to switch off its lights: “When the site turned their lights off, the drone did the same.”

Sightings continued into March 2026, and every NRC entry is marked “Closed Unresolved”. The released records provide limited information about subsequent investigations or findings.

Separately, police records say the Pentagon classified a manifesto recovered from Matthew Livelsberger’s phone. They do not establish whether it included his emailed allegations about Chinese aircraft using “gravitic propulsion systems”.
