Hexing is not some outdated practice or gobbledigook imagined by a backwoods preacher. Hexing comes from a very real mindset of self-assertion and revenge, is given teeth to practice its malice, and is actively being practiced by thousands of witches in the Dark Sisterhood today, particularly in the realm of politics. Its resurgence tells us much about the nature of politics, but that is separate topic.
