A rights group reports 72 miners killed in airstrikes near Sudan's Egypt border and at least 40 people killed in a separate drone strike
Airstrikes on a gold mine near Sudan's border with Egypt reportedly killed 72 civilian miners on Saturday, while a separate drone strike near the Ethiopian border killed at least 40 people, including children, according to Sudanese rights group The Emergency Lawyers.
The group accused the Egyptian air force of carrying out the gold mine attack and blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group fighting Sudan's military, for Friday's drone strike in Blue Nile state. Both casualty figures are preliminary.
Gold mine airstrikes near Egypt border
The Emergency Lawyers said the reported death toll from Saturday's airstrikes was preliminary and that efforts to document and verify the casualties were continuing.
The Sudan Doctors Network separately reported casualties among artisanal miners in the border region, citing preliminary information.
Sudan Tribune reported that fighter aircraft carried out at least five strikes on the Al-Uqaydat gold mine near the Al-Ansari mining market in Sudan's River Nile state. The outlet said it could not independently verify the casualty toll or identify the aircraft involved.
Mirghani Malik, an artisanal miner in the area, told Sudan Tribune that at least 20 injured workers were taken to the Al-Ansari market for emergency treatment.
He said hundreds of miners fled towards nearby mountain ridges, where they faced shortages of drinking water and other supplies.
Workers in the area shared images and footage that appeared to show casualties and damaged mining camps, although the material had not been independently verified.
Spokespersons for the Sudanese and Egyptian militaries did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Sudanese authorities had made no immediate public statement on the strikes.
Sudan-Egypt border tensions
The reported airstrikes come amid tensions along the Sudan-Egypt border, where Egyptian border guards have accused Sudanese prospectors of crossing the unmarked boundary to mine near sites operated by Egyptian companies.
In June, the Egyptian military said it had conducted security operations in its southern border region targeting gold prospecting, smuggling and illegal crossings.
The operations resulted in the arrest of more than 200 people, according to the military. Similar strikes in the frontier area that month also caused casualties among Sudanese miners.
Sudan's artisanal gold sector supports more than two million people and accounts for over 80% of the country's gold output.
The sector has expanded as people seek alternative livelihoods amid the conflict that erupted in April 2023.
Drone strike kills at least 40 in Sudan, rights group says
In a separate attack on Friday, a drone strike killed at least 40 people, including children, in the Abu Shandi area of Sudan's Blue Nile state near the Ethiopian border, according to the Emergency Lawyers.
The group accused the RSF of carrying out the strike. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said it was appalled by the attack.
The war between Sudan's military and the RSF has killed at least 150,000 people, according to conflict monitor ACLED, although aid groups say the actual toll is likely higher.

UFO witnesses who reported strange “orb” activity may testify before Congress

The U.S. intelligence officials who witnessed the 2025 UFO "orb" incident may soon testify before Congress, according to Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.).
The New York Post reported that the officials had seen a strange display of glowing orange orbs, including smaller objects that were said to come out of a large 'mothership' orb.
The unusual sight was witnessed near a secret West Coast military base during a mission in late 2025.
An FBI report released by the Trump government revealed that several orange orbs moved alongside the helicopter of U.S. intelligence officials while countless smaller objects spread in different directions against the backdrop of a mountain.
Burlison explained that one of the witnesses was a longtime official from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and this person was a career bureaucrat unfamiliar to the public.
Burlison also mentioned that some of the witnesses had already spoken with congressional members in private meetings, but they didn't release all of the video recordings of the incident.
According to Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.), the U.S. intelligence officials may have to testify to their encounter with a strange display of orange orbs. The officials reportedly witnessed the orbs flying beside their helicopter during a mission near a West Coast military base in late 2025.
According to the BBC, the Pentagon publicly announced that different shapes and lights in the sky had been spotted over the past 80 years. The UFO files described these things as glowing orbs, circular discs, and bright fireballs.
One of the officials explained that he saw strange orange lights rising and fading while checking loud noises in the mountains at a test range where UFOs had been reported days earlier.
The official said that the close encounters with the UAPs continued for more than an hour. The objects were extremely hot, flying low to the ground, and moving very fast.
According to his description, the objects looked oval in shape, orange in color with white or yellow at the center, and radiating light in every direction.
The official also reported that the group of objects seemed to merge and flare for several minutes, forming a clear triangle before disappearing.
He added that he did not take photographs because he was concentrating on understanding what the objects were and whether they posed any danger.
U.S. intelligence officials may have to testify about the UFO orb before Congress,
The encounter was said to include countless smaller objects emerging from a large orb described as a mothership. Burlison said,
"There are some people who are working for the agency, and having them come forward publicly may expose other things."
He added, "And so that’s a good place to explore, and I’m happy to look into that to see if that’s a possibility."
However, the UFO researcher and Harvard professor, Avi Loeb, told the New York Post that he had not seen any footage that was claimed to be recorded during the mission. The council had not yet spoken with the witnesses, though Avi expressed interest in interviewing them.
The professor further said that the only issue for the witnesses would be avoiding disclosure of classified details connected to national security, which applies only to human-made technologies.

Mysterious star suspected of being home to aliens has new clues.

Why is a star called Tabby's Star so strange? For many years, this has been one of the most perplexing questions for astronomers.
This star once attracted so much attention that some scientists did not rule out the possibility that it was related to a massive structure built by extraterrestrial beings .

The story begins in 2015, when astronomers discovered unusual signs in a star cataloged as KIC 8462852.
Located in the constellation Cygnus, this F-type star is slightly larger than the Sun and is a member of a binary system, with a red dwarf companion star.
Participants in the Planet Hunters project, a program that mobilizes citizen scientists to analyze data from the Kepler space telescope, have made a remarkable discovery.
The brightness of the KIC 8462852 sometimes drops very sharply, at times by as much as 20%.
To illustrate the extent of this anomaly, an exoplanet roughly the size of Jupiter passing in front of a similar star might only obscure about 1% of that star's light.
However, Tabby's Star experienced periods of much greater brightness reduction.
Moreover, this phenomenon occurs completely irregularly. The star's brightness decreases and increases at different intervals, not forming a clear cycle like a planet orbiting a star and periodically passing in front of it.
What is Tabby's Star hiding?
KIC 8462852 was later nicknamed Tabby's Star, or Boyajian's Star, after astronomer Tabetha Boyajian, who authored the research that published the discovery.
A host of theories quickly emerged to explain the star's strange behavior.
Some scientists suggest that an uneven dust belt may exist around it.
Others suggest the possibility of a cluster of comets breaking apart as they approach the star, or a planet that has just been destroyed in a massive collision.
Some astronomers have even put forward a bolder hypothesis: that humans may be observing traces of a superstructure built by an extraterrestrial civilization, such as a "Dyson swarm"—a massive collection of man-made objects surrounding a star to harness its energy.
However, to date, no hypothesis has been able to fully explain the strange fluctuations in Tabby's Star's brightness.
A "giant" lurking outside the star system?
Now, scientists may be closer to the answer.
Cristina Madurga-Favieres, a PhD student in physics at the University of Warwick in England, and her colleagues re-analyzed data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) to test competing hypotheses about Tabby's Star.
The research team discovered a new dimming event that occurred on September 3, 2019, which had previously gone unnoticed.

Remarkably, this decline was only about 1%, far less than the fluctuations that made Tabby's Star famous.
However, its light curve is almost perfectly symmetrical and lasts for about 21 hours.
This is a very noteworthy feature, as it fits the image of an object passing in front of a star – also known as a transit phenomenon.
In other words, the new data suggests that there may be an undiscovered planet orbiting Tabby's Star.
However, researchers still face a major problem. Observing only one transit is not enough to determine the orbit of an exoplanet.
To solve the problem, the research team conducted a rather elaborate astronomical "investigation" to narrow down the possibilities.
For example, they knew this hypothetical planet must have an orbital period longer than about 776 days.
If the period had been shorter, other transits would have been detected in previous observational data.
The team also examined archived data from various telescopes and made new observations of Tabby's Star using the Las Cumbres Observatory network of telescopes.
The analysis suggests that the potential companion object may be moving on a slightly eccentric orbit, with a period of at least 1,030 days.
It is located about 2.35 astronomical units (AU) from Tabby's Star, which is considerably farther than the Earth-Sun distance.
What's even more remarkable is that the object's estimated mass could be up to about nine times that of Jupiter.
If this exoplanet truly exists, it could provide an explanation for many of the mysterious brightness fluctuations that astronomers have observed around Tabby's Star.
A massive gas giant located in the outer reaches of a star system could cause significant gravitational disturbances to the orbits of comets or small protoplanet-like objects.
These objects could be ejected from their stable orbits and plunge into the inner regions of the star system.
As comets approach Tabby's Star, they can break apart. This process releases enormous clouds of dust.
As these dust clouds pass in front of the star, they block out the emitted light, creating the unusual dimming episodes that human telescopes have observed.
This mechanism may help connect two seemingly unrelated things: a relatively "normal" transit of a giant planet and the chaotic light fluctuations that once made Tabby's Star one of the most mysterious stars in the sky.
However, researchers cannot yet confirm the existence of this planet. The answer may soon become clear when data from the Gaia space telescope is released in December.
These data have the potential to confirm or refute the existence of the aforementioned companion object. Tabby's Star therefore hasn't completely lost its mystery.

There is a much deeper story unfolding on this planet than the narratives surrounding extraterrestrial disclosure, government treaties, artificial intelligence, and the struggle for human sovereignty.
To understand humanity’s spiritual predicament, we must look beyond modern history and consider the possibility that the real infiltration began thousands of years ago, through the gradual distortion of our relationship with Creation, the Divine Mother and Father, and the original Christ~Sophia consciousness.
Within this spiritual framework, the greatest threat has never been simply an outside force seeking control, but humanity forgetting its divine nature and surrendering discernment to false gods, counterfeit spiritual authorities, and belief systems that cultivate dependency rather than liberation. What if the most consequential agreements were never signed by presidents or governments, but formed through generations of conditioning, inherited beliefs, and unconscious participation in systems separating us from our original divine blueprint?
This is why I believe the disclosure conversation must reach far beyond alleged twentieth-century extraterrestrial treaties.
We must examine the much older history of spiritual manipulation, the distortion of sacred teachings, and the restoration of our organic relationship with Soul, Spirit, Mother Earth, and Creation.

False Gods and the Distortion of Christ~Sophia Consciousness
One of the greatest dangers of spiritual deception is the worship of an authority presenting itself as divine while demanding fear, obedience, sacrifice, or the abandonment of personal discernment.
An imposter god does not necessarily announce itself as an enemy. Within esoteric interpretations, it may appear through familiar religious imagery, promises of salvation, claims of exclusive truth, or the conviction that humanity must depend upon an external authority to reach the Creator.
The distortion begins when spiritual devotion becomes spiritual dependency. A person may sincerely believe they are serving God while gradually surrendering their ability to question, recognize manipulation, and connect with the sacred presence within themselves.
Over time, fear-based teachings can replace self-knowledge with shame, compassion with judgment, and spiritual maturity with obedience. From a Soul-evolution perspective, this represents fragmentation rather than integration.
Christ consciousness, as I understand it, was never intended to establish humanity as perpetually powerless, sinful, and separated from God.
Its deeper message concerns divine love, truth, forgiveness, compassion, and the awakening of consciousness through lived experience. Jesus repeatedly challenged religious hypocrisy and the misuse of spiritual authority.
Luke 17:21 speaks of the Kingdom of God as within or among us, depending on translation, while Matthew 7:16 teaches that we recognize people by their fruits. These principles emphasize discernment and inner transformation rather than unquestioning submission.

One of the greatest distortions within patriarchal religious structures has been the diminished recognition of the Divine Feminine.
When the Mother principle is removed from our understanding of Creation, spirit becomes disconnected from embodiment, the physical world is treated as inferior, and the Earth becomes something to exploit rather than honor.

The Earthly Mother, Sacred Union, and the Divine Blueprint
A beautiful expression of this relationship appears in the Essene Gospel of Peace, published by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely.
Although the ancient origins claimed for this text remain disputed, its teachings concerning the Heavenly Father and Earthly Mother offer a profound spiritual reflection on humanity’s relationship with Creation.
In Book Three, we encounter the words, “Thou art one with the Earthly Mother; She is in thee, and thou in her.” Another passage expresses this connection through the imagery of humanity’s breath and blood being inseparable from those of the Mother.
These teachings remind us that our physical existence is not separate from the living Earth, whose elements, rhythms, and cycles sustain embodiment.
Hierogamic union, or hieros gamos, refers to sacred marriage, but its spiritual meaning extends beyond the relationship between two people.
Within my understanding of the divine blueprint, it represents the integration of Soul, Spirit, body, and the complementary principles of the Divine Masculine and Feminine.
The masculine, in its higher expression, embodies integrity, courage, responsibility, and protection without domination. The feminine embodies wisdom, compassion, intuition, creativity, and nurturing without surrendering sovereignty. Both principles exist within every human being.
When these energies become distorted, strength turns into domination, devotion into submission, and love into dependency. Sacred union restores their cooperation, allowing consciousness to mature through integration rather than conflict.
Within this spiritual framework, the remedial flame represents purification, correction, and the recovery of consciousness from accumulated distortions. The restoration process is not punishment or the rejection of our humanity, but reconciliation with the deeper principles of Creation.

NASA chief says all UAP data released; Coulthart says no | Reality Check
