A former federal prosecutor says Ilhan Omar could be facing brand-new crimes, not just old immigration paperwork.
Jonathan Fahey on Fox: "If she was 18 at the time, she was not entitled to ever be naturalized."
He says investigators may be looking at whether she still uses the alleged false birth date on current bank or loan documents. If so, "those could be brand-new crimes."
That would wipe out the "it was 26 years ago" excuse.
