Won't flying cars cause a depression - by upending the location principle in real estate?

What happens to house values in high-tax states when people who work there can commute from low-tax ones?

And in states with cold, sucky climates when they can commute from better climate ones?

And in metro and suburban areas where part of their value derives from being convenient to the nearby city when flying cars vastly extend the commutable radius and thus the supply of houses that qualify as 'convenient to'?

And even in nice beach places if they wind up with a spring break level hassle year-round because every Cousain Eddie in a thousand miles can buzzard in at the drop of a beer-hat?

Once they are unveiled, who is going to sign a thirty-year mortgage knowing that within the timeframe of it faster and rangier models will keep being released which will allow for even greater commuting distances? How do you factor that into pricing?

Will it be responsible for banks to even keep issuing them? If they are any position to with that much real estate potentially tanking?
