Amen to that. I actually built an education portal application just before 911. After 911 all funds were divert from No Child Left Behind to National Security. These children are our future, and I am glad to see effort in this area from the FLOTUS. We really need to make education free if we want to be number one. It should only be a matter of an internet connection for the most part, free courseware, and a students time. Kung Fu means time and energy. You won't become a doctor in a day no matter how hard you try, and you will not become a doctor, no matter how much time you are given, if you do not put in the energy. By making education free, we reduce the required energy and only a student time is the remaining factor to becoming a Genius!!!
