Chick-fil-A CEO Issues Perfect Response to Annoying NBC Anchor After Leftist Badgers Him Over Company’s Position on LGBTQ Rights(VIDEO)

The CEO of one of the most beloved fast-food chains in America perfectly handled a sly corporate news hack who tried to paint him and his company as hostile to the gay community.

Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy sat down with NBC’s Craig Melvin on Wednesday to discuss the company, including its devotion to the Christian faith and past positions that triggered radical leftists.

Throughout the interview, Cathy refused to apologize or back down, while also not giving the company’s haters any bulletin-board material.

“It is our anchor, in the sense of what our corporate purpose states:that we’re in business to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that’s entrusted to us and have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A,” Cathy told Melvin.

Melvin then asked how the company would respond to LGBTQ activists still angered over Dan Cathy, the father of Andrew and the previous Chick-Fil-A CEO, for publicly stating back in 2012 that the company was opposed to gay marriage.

This caused thousands of woke Americans to boycott the company for merely expressing an opinion that was quite mainstream at the time.

But Cathy did not take the bait.

Instead, he issued a response that perfectly represents what companies are supposed to do: serving clients regardless of political beliefs.

“Anybody who hasn’t tried us, we’d love for you to come try and have our great-tasting food and the hospitality that we’re known for,” Cathy replied.

“Everybody that’s willing to walk in the door, they’re welcome to come eat with us,” he added. “We would love to give them a great-tasting sandwich and great hospitality.”

“We’re focused on serving everybody that’s coming to eat with us.”

The Daily Mail notes that back in 2019, four years after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of nationwide same-sex marriage, Chick-fil-A announced a change to its charitable giving strategy.

Instead of focusing on issues related to marriage, it would instead steer its donations to organizations working in education, homelessness, and hunger.

Wisconsin Elections Commission Sparks Uproar After Banning ALL Municipal Clerks from Checking If Voters are U.S. Citizens – Ruling Comes Days Before Critical Gubernatorial Election

The steal is apparently underway in Wisconsin as Badger State voters are about to decide who their next governor will be.

As the Wisconsin State Journal reported, the Wisconsin Elections Commission ruled Friday thatthe state’s 1,800 municipal clerks are barredfrom using President Donald Trump’s federal voter database intended to flag noncitizen voters.

The commission, which is made up of both Republicans and Democrats, claimed that using Trump’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database would be “impossible” because state law bars clerks from sharing voters’ personal information.

Moreover, members of the commission say that Wisconsin’s lawoverrides the U.S. Supreme Court’s rulingearlier this month, which allowed the Trump administration to create the database.

This ruling comes 18 days before Wisconsin voters decide whether they want to elect Republican Tom Tiffany or leftist Democrat David Crowley. The latest polls show Crowley with a small lead.

Americans were not buying the Commission’s reasoning and cried fraud.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) later weighed in, saying this indeed sounded like Wisconsin was trying to steal an election for the Democrats.

“Wisconsin Elections Commission to election workers: ‘We hereby prohibit you from taking steps to make sure you’re not facilitating election fraud,'” Lee wrote on X. “That sounds like Wisconsin really wants to facilitate election fraud.”

Lee is absolutely right. And we all know which party stands to benefit from this travesty.

Tesla’s Flying Roadster is Incredibly American

When I saw the video of the Tesla Roadster, I was speechless. My brain said this had to be AI or SI generated video that was not reality, and this didn’t happen. However, just like Elon Musk’s SpaceX catching the booster rocket after use, this Tesla Roadster reveal was very real and incredibly amazing.

I’ve watched the video more than a few times and I understand the concept of using pressurized air as explained by Elon Musk and several engineers in subsequent explanations. However, it remains stunning to think about.

While the rest of the western world is seemingly stuck in a political battle about artificial intelligence, pitting advanced technology against the socialist and heavily unionized interests who will be impacted by it, the U.S. continues to lead the way on innovation and technology at a scale now visibly represented by this stunning Tesla Roadster’s capabilities.

Sure, it’s extreme, and there’s not likely to be a consumer-friendly version of it despite production scheduled for next year, but beyond the over-the-top incredible technology that makes a vehicle do these seemingly science defying stunts, my brain started thinking about how this technology could make vehicles safer.

When we think about collision warning and avoidance systems that are already present in cars, and we think about these specifically new capabilities on display, it doesn’t take long before you wonder if the commercial application of this technology might end up being incorporated into vehicle safety options.

Unintentionally driving off a cliff in a vehicle that can detect, stabilize, optimize a travel vector and land itself is no longer just an out-there mental exercise.

We can easily imagine a future where the technology revealed in the Tesla Roadster will be in some form of safety features. Just a few days ago the thought was never even contemplated.

This is remarkable and the engineering teams at Tesla should be commended for pushing the envelope and creating things that go beyond our imagination.

Congratulations to Elon Musk, the folks at Tesla and all of the incredible people who put their time, effort and energy into these accomplishments.

This is what unleashed American innovation can deliver. I think it is awesome.

You’ve probably seen by now, that the new Tesla Roadster can fly. And flip. And drive upside down. But how does it do all that? Henry Catchpole met up with Lars Moravy, VP for Vehicle Engineering at Tesla, to talk through all the details of the long awaited new car and see how Optimus and SpaceX helped.

Flying aside, a few things have changed since a new Roadster was teased by Elon Musk over a decade ago. For a start, it is now a two-seater, rather than a 2+2 and the styling, by Franz von Holzhausen, is much sleeker and more in-keeping with traditional supercar wedges. We particularly like the pop-down (not pop-up) headlights, but the moving body panels in general are not only clever but rather beautiful.

There will be three versions of the Tesla Roadster, initially, all with over a megawatt (1341hp) and 1400NM (1033lb ft) from two motors driving the rear wheels alone. Yes, the Tesla Roadster is rear-wheel drive. The Performance model adds fans and skirts into the equation, much like the McMurtry Pure, enabling it to generate huge downforce at low speeds and significantly improve traction.

The Thrust version then adds a quartet of Cold Gas Thrusters (CGTs) to the back of the car. These are fed from a 200-litre tank of compressed Nitrogen that sits behind the seats and help to deliver the Roadster to 60mph in just 0.85seconds. The Rocket version then adds another 400-litre tank in place of the passenger seat and six more thrusters - one in each corner and two at the sides. This is the version that can leave the ground and claims an astonishing 0-60mph of just 0.55 seconds (although that is a rollout figure).

Riots, Looting and Arson Erupt in France with Chaos across Urban Regions in Western Europe

Things are not getting better in France, Belgium, Italy and beyond as social chaos continues unfolding. The worst of the street violence seems to be centered throughout France asgovernment officials now report around 500,000 people participated in street “protests” nationally that turned into violent confrontations with police.

EU News is reporting that dozens of arrests were made as the chaos unfolded {link}. “The French Interior Ministry said around 550,000 people took part in the protests, including roughly 110,000 in Paris.”

Additionally, AFP is reporting, “The town hall in the French city of Limoges was “largely lost” to a fire set by masked protesters on Saturday, the top regional official told AFP. “The roof has collapsed onto lower floors, except the west wing, and two-thirds of the exterior has already disappeared,” the local prefect, Maurice Barate, said.

Another report highlights the looting that quickly took place as opportunists swooped in to agitate for economic reparations in the form of Hermes swag and Apple Store tech components. {link} Looters in several French cities on Saturday broke into stores ranging from a high-end luxury brand to a bakery, on the sidelines of cost-of-living protests, AFP journalists and authorities said.

In Paris, near the Republique square, the front window of a skincare brand came crashing down, with looters tossing beauty products to dozens of people massing outside, an AFP correspondent saw.

[…] In the second-largest city of Marseille, angry protesters vandalised dozens of shops, targeting luxury brand Hermes as well as others stores selling jewellery, clothes, makeup, household appliances and even bread, a third AFP journalist said.

[…] In the northern city of Lille, shops were vandalised, with looters in particular breaking into an Apple Store in the city centre, Socialist mayor Arnaud Deslandes said.
