Why hasnt the design of the combusion engine improved much? It still wastes tons of energy. Also, I generally agree with you, but Elon isnt trying to appeal to the daily driver market, he's appealling to drivers who want the latest toys and tech. The cybertruck falls short on a lot of promises and other important metrics, but its a cool little idea that at least doesnt look exactly like every other boring car out there, and you could certainly drive everyday.
