Citizen journalist Nick Shirley is proving to be worth his weight in gold when it comes to exposing the truth about people in power.
His latest investigation led him down the road of a 10-year-old grant from USAID to Malia Obama that "fact-checkers" said was "misinformation."
"The only misinformation was the system and the media trying to cover for her," said Shirley on his podcast, "Public records from FOIA don't lie."
Shirley says he plans to present his evidence to both the FBI and his congressman, Jim Jordan.
"Taxpayers deserve answers."

An incident at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta on Saturday sparked a major fire that spread beyond the base in high winds, and Defense Minister David McGuinty confirmed fatalities and injuries among military personnel.
Global News reports “at least seven people are dead and dozens more left injured.”
The report added:
A live-fire training exercise hit a gas line or gas well on the base causing an explosion around 4 p.m. MT, multiple Canadian Armed Forces sources told Global News.
A fire then broke out and spread, fuelled by wind gusts of up to 100 km/h that prompted much of Alberta to be under wind warnings on Saturday.

U.S. taxpayer money meant for foreign infrastructure and conflict prevention went to kickbacks and payroll fraud. The cases show how little oversight some overseas aid programs have had: In one notable case, the fraud totaled more than $100,000, with tens of thousands siphoned off in kickbacks.
The Trump administration continues to clean up waste, fraud, and abuse within the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), with more organizations and individuals getting debarred for criminal activity.
The latest schemes involve U.S.-funded nonprofits in Pakistan and Mali, both of which were debarred, excluding them from federal contracts, grants and other government business for a set period.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, we are aggressively hunting those who steal from American taxpayers and, as USAID IG investigators continue to do, will travel to the ends of the earth to hold fraudsters accountable,” a senior administration official familiar with the USAID's Office of Inspector General (OIG) told Just the News. The OIG is a statutorily independent law enforcement agency.
