Pro-Israel Group Trolls French Government on How to Respond to Protestors: “We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris”

Margaret Flavin Oct. 18, 2026 3:40

As France burns and French President Macron spends time partying rather than leading, the pro-Israel group Israel War Room trolled the French government with their tongue-in-cheek advice.

The ongoing violent and destructive Islamo-Marxist riots are attacking businesses, citizens, and destroying historic buildings.

After Europe has arrogantly lectured Israel on its response to the October 7 terrorist attacks targeting civilians, Israel War Room offered the same advice to the French that they were forced to listen to while burying murdered infants and praying that hostages would come home alive after being abused, raped, and tortured in captivity.

The group shared on X, “We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris.”

“These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law.”

“Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.”

Others got in on the opportunity to point out woke Europe’s hypocrisy.

Sarah Adams added, “A two state solution in France is the only solution, I think we can get a commission from the Taliban to help broker the ‘peace deal’.”

During National Address to France President Macron Says He “Doesn’t Know What is Going On” but He’s Sure President Trump is to Blame

October 18, 2026 | sundance |

Following days of riots, violence, arson, buildings destroyed and mass looting, French President Emmanuel Macron delivered a national address to the people of France. Remarkably, in thebeginning of his remarks Macron says no one in the French government understands what is happening, but he is demanding an investigation.

A few paragraphs into the prepared transcript andMacron says high fuel prices driven by President Trump’s war against Iran, “a war we had nothing to do with,” is certainly the cause of the proteststhat have mysteriously turned violent for some unknown reason. Macron further notes those protests are righteous, justified and he agrees with them.

This is quite a remarkable address. WATCH:

The image below represents the entire dynamic.

FRANCE – France’s President Emmanuel Macron addressed the nation on Sunday evening as communities reeled from one of the most violent nights of unrest in recent years after largely peaceful anti-government protests descended into rioting, leaving government buildings torched, one police officer and one protester dead.

Macron said that the full force of the law would be brought to bear on those who had damaged property or participated in rioting.

“Those who looted will have to pay back for the damage,” Macron said, according a translation from the AP. “And those who sought to bring down the Republic will be held accountable.”

The president allowed that the government should listen to public grievances, and said that he would hold an emergency meeting with French mayors to discuss public safety tomorrow. Macron also said that he had asked the government to convene stakeholders – including students, teachers, trade unionists and others – this week to discuss “concrete proposals,” according to a readout from Reuters.

There were at least two deaths connected to rioting and protests over the weekend. A 22-year-old police officer died after being “struck by a third-party vehicle” in the city of Nantes, about 250 miles southwest of Paris, France’s Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said. (read more)

President Trump Points Out Zelenskyy’s Financial Motivation to Keep War Going

October 18, 2026 | sundance |

Factually, CTH is very comfortable, perhaps even optimistic, to see President Trump take a full wolverine position toward the insufferable position of Zelenskyy.

♦ TRUMP: IN PROCESS OF NEGOTIATING PEACE BETWEEN RUSSIA,UKRAINE

♦ TRUMP: ZELENSKYY USING DIESEL REFINERIES IN RUSSIA AS A TARGET

♦ TRUMP: ZELENSKYY DOESN’T WANT TO END THIS WAR

♦ TRUMP: I WANT THIS WAR END

President Trump delivers this message via Truth Social:

“My decision on Russia is a very simple one. I am in the process of negotiating Peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and don’t want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table. Great progress is being made, and that includes current hostage negotiations!

Signing that document at this time will do that, and I can sign it later, or any time that I want!Perhaps more importantly, Russia is doing very little, if anything, to help the Islamic Republic of Iran, compared to what they could be doing, and I want to keep it that way, and will, unless stupid people get in the way.

Lastly, Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, and businesses of all kinds are suffering greatly from this, but Russia is, nevertheless, sending, at a low price, millions of barrels of diesel to the World. Zelenskyy doesn’t care, and frankly, with all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past, he doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did. He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead. I WANT THIS WAR END! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

~President DONALD J. TRUMP

Hungary breaks ranks with EU over US-Russia diesel deal

Hungarian PM Peter Magyar expects Trump to prolong Budapest’s exemption from American energy sanctions targeting Moscow, adding it is significant for the country

Published 18 Oct, 2026 14:44 |

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar has said that he expects US President Donald Trump to prolong Budapest’s exemption from Washington’s sanctions targeting Russian energy after Trump announced a diesel deal with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

Trump eased restrictions on Russia’s diesel exports following a phone call with Putin last week in an attempt to reduce rising fuel prices ahead of the midterm election in the US on November 3.

The deal faced harsh criticism in the EU, with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni labeling it a “very risky” gamble that could undermine the whole Western sanctions policy towards Russia. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys argued that it “doesn’t help neither the price of oil products nor the unity of the transatlantic community.”

When asked to comment on Trump’s decision during his interview with the outlet 444 on Saturday, Magyar replied by saying that “the US president will make the deals that he wants. On the other hand, this agreement is significant for Hungary.”

Moscow has said that it would immediately release 300,000 metric tons of diesel, followed by another 500,000 metric tons next month. According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak, the fuel will arrive on the US market within 15 to 20 days after the signing of the relevant contracts between the Russian and American companies, which are currently being discussed.

“Hungary has an exemption from sanctions on Russian oil until November. This is extended annually by the Americans. If the US president has concluded an agreement on diesel exports, it would be illogical not to grant Hungary this exemption for at least another year,” Magyar said.

The exemption was agreed between Trump and Magyar’s predecessor, Viktor Orban, who was a harsh critic of Western economic restrictions on Moscow over the Ukraine conflict.

Due to being a landlocked country, Hungary remains heavily dependent on deliveries of Russian pipeline oil and gas. Some 90% of its crude oil in 2025 had been provided by Moscow, according to S&P Global data.

The Hungarian prime minister stressed that he understood that the Russia-US diesel deal was “not welcome from Ukraine’s point of view.”

After it was announced, Vladimir Zelensky lashed out at Trump, calling the agreement “weak” and insisting that the actual reason for the global energy shortage was not Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries as the US president claimed, but the American war on Iran.

Following his address at the EU summit in Brussels on Friday, Zelensky told journalists that “we cannot accept these agreements [between Washington and Moscow]. Because gas deals will follow. And I am absolutely certain of this. After gas, they will lift sanctions on other things as well.”

On Saturday, Trump also signed an executive order to waive “the bone-crushing” sanctions, championed by the late US Senator Lindsey Graham, which proposed 500% tariffs on imports from Russia and 100% tariffs on major buyers of Russian oil and gas.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Taylor Rogers defended the move, saying that it “provides the president with additional authorities to pursue a peaceful resolution”of the Ukraine conflict. “Enforcing the sanctions provisions now would impede ongoing US efforts to negotiate a durable and comprehensive peace agreement,” she explained.

Rubio rebukes Zelensky over Starlink claims

The US secretary of state has denied that Washington ordered restrictions on satellite services used by Ukrainian drones

Published 18 Oct, 2026 03:55

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has rejected Vladimir Zelensky’s claim that Washington ordered restrictions on satellite services used by Ukraine to carry out drone strikes deep inside Russia. The dispute comes amid a public spat between the Ukrainian leader and US President Donald Trump over sanctions and strikes on Russian energy facilities.

Earlier this week, Ukrainian officials said SpaceX’s Starlink terminals had suddenly stopped working on drones traveling faster than 160 km/h (100 mph). Zelensky told journalists on Saturday that tests on Starlink equipment in EU countries indicated that the restrictions imposed in Ukraine were “a planned operation.”

When asked to comment on Zelensky’s remarks later that day, Rubio offered a different account.

“I don’t know what Zelensky said. I’m not sure Zelensky knows what he’s talking about, but it wasn’t deliberate,” he told reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

“We had nothing to do with it. Nobody in the United States ordered that Starlink speed be slowed down. It sort of happened, but my understanding is it’s been restored. It’s back to where it was before,” the US diplomat said.

Rubio confirmed that Ukraine currently had no access to Starshield, Starlink’s military-grade sister service, but had requested it.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk similarly denied restricting Starlink in Ukraine but clarified that the service must be used for civilian and defensive purposes only, not offensive operations.

The Telegraph, however, reported on Friday that Musk had personally asked Trump to cap Starlink speeds for Ukraine, while Reuters reported that the White House had instructed the Pentagon to slow down Starshield. Trump has denied any involvement and said he did not believe Musk was responsible either.

Zelensky said on Saturday that the Starlink restrictions remained in place. A Ukrainian official told Axios that SpaceX had blamed the cap on “a technical problem.”

Trump lifted sanctions on Russian diesel exports earlier this month in an effort to curb rising energy prices ahead of the US midterm elections. On Friday, he went further, suspending new sanctions on Russian oil and gas trade on national security grounds. Trump also sought to pressure Ukraine to stop attacking Russian refineries, which he blamed for contributing to high energy prices.

Zelensky said he felt betrayed by Trump, who, in turn, argued that the Ukrainian leader was “not a good guy for us to deal with” and should be replaced.

Zelensky never wanted to end war with Russia – Trump

The US president has defended easing sanctions on Moscow, blaming Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries for rising energy prices

Published 18 Oct, 2026 22:08

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky does not want to end the conflict with Russia and probably never did, despite receiving billions in Western aid, US President Donald Trump has claimed while defending his decision to ease sanctions on Moscow.

In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump reiterated his claim that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries had contributed to rising energy prices, hurting American consumers and businesses.

“Zelenskyy doesn’t care, and frankly, with all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past, he doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did,” Trump wrote.

He added that Ukraine was “in shambles,”describing its male population as “low, wounded, and/or dead.”

Trump lifted sanctions on Russian diesel exports earlier this month in a bid to curb rising energy prices ahead of the US midterm elections. On Friday, he suspended sweeping tariffs targeting major buyers of Russian oil and gas.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he was focused on brokering peace between Russia and Ukraine and did not want to “do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table.”

Trump fires ambassador after alleged coup threats against Greece

Kimberley Guilfoyle was embroiled in multiple graft allegations and reportedly threatened to overthrow the Greek government

Published 13 Oct, 2026 18:29 |

US President Donald Trump has sacked his ambassador to Greece, Kimberley Guilfoyle, after she solicited pay-to-play donations from a Republican donor and allegedly threatened to topple the Greek government.

Guilfoyle’s departure was announced on Tuesday by White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia, who told reporters that “we have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign.”

“She was doing a good job, but we didn’t like what we were reading,” Trump told reporters shortly afterwards.

Guilfoyle, who was previously engaged to Trump’s eldest son, Donald Jr., was sworn in as ambassador to Greece last September. Less than a year later, the Wall Street Journal claimed that she was using her position to lobby for Greek energy tycoon Alexandros Exarchou. Guilfoyle allegedly pressured several Balkan governments to purchase American liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Exarchou’s firm, Aktor Group, and traveled to Davos aboard his private jet.

At a meeting with Greek officials in March, Guilfoyleallegedly threatened to topple Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ governmentif the Greek leader refused to purchase US LNG. Guilfoyle reportedly took credit for ousting Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, who supported the US-backed Vertical Gas Corridor project, but refused to purchase more American LNG when Romania already possessed adequate domestic reserves.

“We can do that to any country we want. We can do that here,” she reportedly warned Greek Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou. Papastavrou later denied that Guilfoyle had made any “pressure or threat against our country,” but did not address the Wall Street Journal’s claim that the ambassador played a part in ousting Bolojan.

The newspaper then released a leaked recording in which Guilfoyle told an American businessman thatshe could make him “a lot of f**king money” if he gifted her an invitation to a dinner in Davos in January. The final straw came last week when Trump donor Eric Deters told MS Now that Guilfoyle asked him for $100,000 to pay off her credit card bill in 2024, promising him access to the Trump administration if he did.

“It absolutely was a quid pro quo,” Deters said, calling Guilfoyle “a grifter.”

In a social media post addressing her dismissal, Guilfoyle described “the recent allegations” against her as “false.”

“I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation, and my integrity,” she added, concluding “I will not allow false accusations to define my decades of public service.”

(She always seemed gauche imo, it’s surprising she was appointed as an ambassador in the first place!)
