And how did we give our coal to China? We ship it there? Obama said we can't burn it here, so China buys it (mainly from Powder River Basin in Wyoming) and float it over there on big boats across the Pacific. They burn it there, to smelt steel and for other purposes presumably, including in their big east coast cities, in plants that may not even have scrubbers on the stacks, and the flyash floats back across the Pacific … to the US west coast!
