I think the fact that we "know about aliens" and have some idea of "what they look like" is the first clue that, the information we've been provided about them is either completely false or completely twisted. It may be the last thing we expect, perhaps the thing they've made us believe the least.
Demos/aliens/alternate dimensional beings/ghosts/ect whatever you want to call them they boil down to the same thing. Hasn't out view of society and reality been severely upended? For those of us who accept that these bastards have been practicing their black magic via human sacrifice- we must also logically accept that the polar opposite of this exists.
