There are already a few relevant U.N. treaties and resolutions regarding outer space activities:

some of these go back to the 1950s. Once we understand that the UN is basically a Rots/cabal organization, though, it seems fortunate that POTUS wants to maintain a robust set of U.S. space activities that are independent of the UN.
