FBI claims to have resolved literally 99.9% of missing persons cases in the year, including those toward the end of the year.

Seems improbable??

"During 2014, 635,155 missing person records were entered into NCIC.

Missing Person records cleared or canceled during the same period totaled 634,367.

Reasons for these removals include: a law enforcement agency located the subject, the individual returned home, or the record had to be removed by the entering agency due to a determination that the record is invalid."
