losing my mind

i always felt we should have 100% truth but i no longer believe that. there are things we do not need to be exposed to. we can know it happened and be spared the gruesome details. you can't unsee. you can't unknow. seeing and knowing is traumatizing in and of itself, no matter how strong you are. you are consuming those images. they are seeded in your mind. i feel tainted and infected and to the best of my knowledge i was never a victim myself. this is horrific. i pray for us all.
