Their NEED is actually for RITUAL - repetitive actions - they then use SYMBOLISM as a communication device within the Ritual.
SYMBOLS surpass individual national/ regional languages. They communicate BEYOND words because they relate CONCEPTS that are understood despite what regional language you speak.
Avoid the TRAP of thinking a Symbol is “evil” on its own. One symbol can have several interpretations. The Symbol is not evil, it is the INTENT of the communicator where the evil lies.
