the algorithm is strange, i agree. i too see these 'pushes' and 'obfuscations' in waves.
i've never followed posbiec, but i keep seeing retweets and likes of his words.
in a similar vein, i sometimes have to check the feeds of people i DO follow because i haven't heard a peep from them in a day or two, and they've posted several times.
