SWEDEN
The very heartland of western power…

“Alongside a global reputation for peacemaking and generous foreign aid, Sweden has become a major world supplier of weapons counting a number of regimes criticized for human rights abuses among its customers.”
“Ranked the third largest arms exporter per capita after Israel and Russia”
“Saab and other Sweden-based firms including BAE Systems and Bofors have been hugely successful in the 2000s, last year alone selling weapons and defence material to 55 countries to the tune of $1.8 billion (1.3 billion euros).”
Now, this article was published on May 20 2014, four months before election day (9/14/2014) and five months before Stefan Löfven became Sweden´s PM on 10/3/2014
Löfven had been an employee at Hägglunds & Söner (Hägglunds % sons), which eventually became BAE Systems Hägglunds. He has been lobbying for the military industrial complex since at least 1999, through ties to BAE Systems, Saab, Jas etc.
(having trouble finding decent sauce on this, especially in English)
On march 6 2018 Swedish PM Löfven visited POTUS Trump at the WH. Accompanied by representatives of several private companies:
Marcus Wallenberg – president at SEB (bank) and SAAB,
Jacob Wallenberg – president at Investor, Ericsson, ABB, ties to SEB, SAS, Coca Cola Comp.,
Martin Lundstedt – CEO Volvo AB,
Håkan Buskhe – CEO SAAB,
Pascal Soriot – CEO Astra Zeneca,
Börje Ekholm – CEO Ericsson
Ylva Berg – CEO Business Sweden
So this meetin took place on march 6 2018
POTUS was in China on nov 9 2017
