About Thrift stores and non profits. This is a killer way to make money. I'm sure you all have noticed the billions and billions going thru non profits and it appears very little of that huge sum ever makes it to the end point, to actually help someone. Otherwise, i think world hunger would actually have already been solved. It's instead consumed in paying fat salaries and who knows what else. Anyway, it's just another way to make tax free money and push it in circles. I'm only looking at the surface, but having companies that circulate legal funds, a courier and non-profit thrift stores smells like a fishy combination. Possible laundering? Only a hunch. I happen to be familiar with someone who actually has some legit non profit thrift stores and when this company turns around and gives a pretty decent percentage to the cause, the next level is the fat salaries off the actual cause they support. So, might not hurt to look into what cause the thrift stores support.
