You have a point
Fighters out of Otis used to buzz us all the time out on Georges Bank.
They’d dive on us over and over.
Once in awhile they’d come low with gear down maybe 50 yards off the windward side wagging their wings and waving.
Still gives me goosebumps watching them in my minds eye.
When they banked away, tucked the gear and went full afterburner, gone in a blink!
Often they’d blow over and be gone before ghe sound got to us.
One afternoon I nearly pissed myself laughing when I’d just rang the bell to set out and all four guys came two feet off the deck when the roar of afterburner hit us.
