From WIkipedia's Bombardier Q400 page under notable incidents

On August 10, 2018, an Alaska Airlines (operated by Horizon Air) Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft registered N449QX was stolen from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport with no passengers on board, prompting Oregon Air National Guard F-15 fighter jets to scramble and intercept the aircraft. After being contacted by Seattle/Tacoma air traffic control, the aircraft crashed near Ketron Island in Pierce County, Washington, killing the pilot.[67][68]
